Chapter 4

The next morning I woke up on time I got ready I was on a white suit shirt, black tie, a black blazer and a matching black trouser.I left home and got to work very early that day I was supposed to be an interviewer on the news channel because that's what I applied for but I was instead moved to the typing department every News paper was typed by us.

I was a little disappointed but I had no choice I had to go with the flow of things if I didn't want to lose my job I was given an already edited script which I started typing immediately I was basat typing so I was very slow.

I sat by a young man he seemed to have been in that company for a long time,he literally knew everyone there and was always the first to finish typing his script and he gets his printed first,his name was Sam

I had stayed there for hours but hadn't even typed half of my script just then Sam walked over to me , asked for my name and when he noticed I was having problems typing he offered to help I agreed eagerly as that was an opportunity I had been looking for.

In about twenty (20) minutes he was done and he told me it was time for our lunch break that was when I noticed our department was empty we went to a cafeteria and ordered our food.

Sam was so helpful as to give me a brief rundown of the company he advised me the people in the department to stay away from and those to reckon with.He also introduced himself to me and I did the same After our lunch break we got back into our office to see another set of script waiting for us,I typed faster this time

Sam told me to stay away from the people in the management

Look if you want your stay in this company to be a peaceful one avoid everyone in the management from the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) to the secretary once they have a problem with you they make sure to turn your life upside down as long as you are in the company. Sam said

Whoa it seems like I've got a lot to learn before I adapt fully to this place, my interviewer was so strict her name was Tina. Miss Tina is she the CEO? I asked Sam

No she's not but she's more like the CEO she's strict young and beautiful and also very bossy . Sam replied

Wow I would really like to see the CEO. I said

Well you will most likely be seeing her soon because she will be coming to our department one of these days for an inspection. And her name is Charlotte. Sam said

I had worked in that company for about a month now but still nothing from the CEO I actually believed she doesn't come for inspection then one day I was at work t

getting a script printed when the CEO came into our office unannounced those who were discussing or doing nothing were caught but I wasn't shocked by her sudden entrance but I was shocked by who the CEO was. My mouth literally went wide open.

And then I felt fear for my job
