Guns and Romance

Chapter 13

As we danced the passion I felt from her was so exhilarating. I knew she loved me with all her heart and there and then I decided I'll give her a chance,we were still dancing and soon enough we stole the attention of the crowd. Everyone looked at us in awe and our dance ended up becoming a presentation as many of the dignitaries at the Plazas cheered us and the others took out their phones and started videoing us. After the dance we took a few more drinks and we left at 2:00 AM. We got late night cab as we both were drunk and we both slept at my house side by side on the same bed, but luckily nothing happened as we both slept before we hit the bed.

Waking up the next morning, I couldn't remember a thing and I turned to see who was lying beside me and when I saw

Sonia lying by my side. My heart raced with so many thoughts, I was scared thinking that we had gotten intimate but I looked at myself and I looked at her, we both were very properly dressed and I calmed down knowing that there was no how we would've gotten intimate while drunk without one of us looking underdressed. Sonia woke up after some time and she was happy thinking we got intimate but I told her that nothing had happened and it seemed to dash her hopes and she left my home a little annoyed.

Throughout that day I texted and called Sonia but she neither picked my calls or replied any of my messages. The next day which was a Sunday I got dressed for church. I was a very religious person mostly because of my family but I wasn't a full Christian. My parents had seen to it that I went to church from childhood, and ever since then I have been attending church even when I was in the military I attended Sunday services only when I had the chance. After the wonderful church service that day I got home freshened up, got dressed and left home going to Sonia's place. I now had her location since I was the one who picked her last time

The cab ride was an enjoyable one, when I got to the house of Sonia I rang the doorbell twice before Sonia opened the door. She just looked at me and walked into the house. I asked her what I did and she told me she was angry at me for a reason she didn't know. We both spoke at length before I left her house to mine.
