Rain is absolutely furious. Just like the overprotective being overprotective cousin she always is. I love her for that. She did not like what Nathan had to say about his mother and me.
"You should've just told her no", she says, it’s obvious that she’s blaming Nathan.
"No because then she wouldn't have gone after me, she would have given Beck her lecture", Nathan says, and I can't help to feel the warmth in my body when I hear him use my nickname. "And trust me, they aren't pleasant, even if she’s physical or not, you do not want to cross that woman".
