Tristen Upon waking, I knew it was late in the morning. I never slept late, I was always the first rise and last to retire. Last night, I honestly had thought I would not sleep at all, the only thing I could do was watch my Flicka’s sleeping face. A smile pulling at my lips at the thought of her face, I reached out for her. Wanting to bring her the embrace and security of my arms.
