She takes a moment, letting his words sink in, and then replies, “I understand where you’re coming from. It’s just that I’ve always valued friendships....As they stand there, the atmosphere shifts suddenly when the door swings open, revealing Alison with a bright smile, completely unaware of the tension in the room. “Hey! I hope I’m not interrupting anything!” she chirps, her voice cheerful and light. Ryan’s expression changes instantly, a mix of surprise and discomfort flashing across his face. “Uh, no, not at all,” he replies, trying to regain his composure As they stand there, Alison strides in confidently, glancing between them with curiosity. “I thought we could all have breakfast together! I brought some pastries!” She sets down a beautifully wrapped box on the table, completely oblivious to the undercurrents of the earlier conversation. Oprah feels a knot tighten in her stomach. She forces a smile, trying to mask her unease. “That sounds nice,” she says, but her tone is laced with a hint of distance. Alison beams, clearly excited to be included. “Great! I thought it would be fun to all hang out, right?” Ryan shifts slightly, glancing at his wife , sensing the tension but unsure how to address it with Alison present. “Yeah, fun,” he mutters, his eyes darting between the two women. Alison darts out with a tone of finality"I'll bring the car Ryan though she extended the invitation to her it was clear,she aimed at Ryan . Please take care of your own affairs before bothering with mine after all I am just your wife on paper . she slams the door walking out .
