My mother was the right hand of the former queen of Caria. Caria is the enchanted place in Grandelbrooke. When the queen died, she left the kingdom to her first born Amera, but her second child, Ametta, was furious and wanted to be the queen of Caria. She then deceived her sister and imprisoned her in the dark forest. Ametta took our ability to fight and we became her slaves. I was uncertain to tell Liby the truth, but I was running out of time. I need to figure out how to save the queen. She’s our only hope. “So what now?” she asked. “I need your help, if you want to save your father, we need to save Amera first, she’s the only one who can defeat the evil queen”, I said. “But how? I have no special ability to help you in this situation “, she said. “Yes you can, you can see creatures and we can’t, we can only feel their presence”, I said. “You know what? Your father tell stories about you every time. He said you love books so much, and that you had an accident when you're 5 years old. After you recovered from that accident he said you started to see things and often times you drew them”, I said. “We missed him so much, we’ve been looking for him everywhere, and now that I know where he was I’ll save him, I’ll bring him back”, she said, tears sprung into her eyes. “I want to know everything about Caria, maybe I’ll figure something out what to do next”, she continued. “We, Carians losses our powers when we enter to your world. Before, Carians can go freely to your world, live like normal people, but everything changed when Ametta became queen, she hid the portal and your father found it”, I said. “She hid the portal because she hated the fact that her powers are useless in our world, is that right?”, she asked. “Exactly, because Carians will use that against her”, I answered. “How will we enter the portal without being notice?”, she asked. “Tomorrow night is full moon, they’ll have a feast at the palace, and everybody will be busy, no one will notice us”, I said. “But we also need Margaret’s help”, I continued. Liby was shocked that I had met Margaret. “How did you know her?”, she asked. “Margaret is not human, she’s a Carian, but she fell in love with a man and decided to live here at Grandelbrooke”, I said. Liby was uncertain about everything in this town. I could see in her eyes that she didn’t know what was real in this town. I can’t blame her because this town is mysterious. What you see here is the surface of this town, not what's beyond.

We headed to Margaret's house, she's on her garden. Margaret doesn't change, she still love her plants. Before, when she's still living in Caria, one of her ability is to grow plants, her ancestors was the famous gardener in the palace, it's in their blood. "Margaret", I called. She then wave and headed towards us. " Amber, it's been a long time. How are you ?", she said. " Anyway, is she the new neighbor you're talking about Liby?", she asked. " Yes and she told me everything. My father was in Caria Margaret", Liby said. " Oh, I'm sorry dear, but we'll figure things out, okay?", she said. " Come on, let's get inside", Margaret continued. I told Margaret about the present situation of Caria now. " I never imagined Ametta would do such thing, she's so innocent, fragile and sweet", Margaret said. Amera and Ametta are older than me, but I grew up with them because my mother was the queen's right hand. Amera was brave, firm and has good heart, while Ametta was innocent, sweet and fragile. Amera loves her sister so much, she'll protect Ametta no matter what happens. When the king died, Amera took the responsibility to protect the queen and her sister, but Ametta doesn't saw that, she was blinded by her own rage and deceived her sister. " I'll go with you, I leave my kingdom behind for many years and now it's time that I do my part as a Carian ", Margaret declared. " We will prepare tomorrow morning and we'll meet at the old bench tomorrow afternoon", Margaret continued.
