Princess Hinata And The Race Against Time!

The Search party continued late into the night, Naruto being torn using shadow clones to find his wife while staying home caring for Boruto and Himawari. Knock knock knock Naruto broke thought, standing up from sitting at the couch going to answer the door. "Naruto! is it true?! Is my sister really gone?!" A very stressed out crying Hanabi screamed grabbing Naruto by his collar. "Why didn't you protect her? What happened? Where's my sister?" Hanabi kept firing question after question. "It's true, I don't know where she is, all I know is she went to see the doctor and never came back. I went to the clinic to see who treated her and found out there was no record of her being there." Naruto replied looking down. "I hate this, I know I have to stay with the kids, while my shadow clones are out looking but, I want to be out there looking." Naruto continued while crying. "Then go, I'll watch Bolt and Hima, I'm they're aunt after all. BUT! Bring back my sister ALIVE!" Hanabi snapped. Naruto's eyes grew wild and nodded. "You have my word sis!" Naruto said and jumped away leave Hanabi standing in front of their door. Hanabi looked down crying. "Thank you Naruto." she said quietly. Hanabi entered the house closing and locking the door heading to the living room where the kids were on her guard incase her and the kids were ambushed.

Hanabi waited impatiently and nervously praying for her sisters safe return pacing the floors. "Sis where are you? You would never abandon what you love." She said to herself. Night was falling Shinobi's from all over Konoha searched high and low for the for the missing Princess. Hanabi was growing more impatient and concerned. She tried to keep her mind at ease while tending to the kids but they were sensing her worry. "Auntie where's mommy?" Boruto asked all wide eyed. "I miss mommy when will she be home?" Himawari asked. walking up from behind Boruto. "She'll be home very soon, I promise." Hanabi replied reassuringly, the kids smiled at her and pulled her to their room to have Hanabi play with them. After an hour playing tag through the house, Hanabi fed the kids and helped them get ready for bed. They passed out quickly with no fuss leaving Hanabi in her thoughts. Nobody had a clue just how bad the troubles were going to be following the next few weeks. Naruto finally returned around 4 am, he was soaked through from the horrible rain storm, winds tearing through the village taking out electricity. "You haven't found her?" Hanabi asked with tears threatening to spill over. "No we will continue the search when the weather clears up, everyone stopped searching around midnight." Naruto replied. Hanabi fell down to the ground crying her eyes, she clenched her fist where her heart beats trying to squeeze the pain out of her chest. Naruto went to his sister in law and hugged her. "Don't worry Hana I'll find her no matter what, I'll bring her home to us." Naruto said reassuring her. "I hope so." Hanabi replied between her tears. When morning came everyone went out searching again hoping for a clue to finding Hinata. They thought that the storm had passed but they were mistaken after having to cut the search short after only a few hours.

The wind was blowing so hard that roofs were coming off of buildings, the rain began to cause flash flooding. Konoha wasn't known for this type of weather so it left everyone unprepared. "You won't get away with this Sakura, you can't keep me here. Naruto will find me!" Hinata said while struggling to talk. Sakura was drugging Hinata so she couldn't break free from her straps. Hinata still wasn't feeling a hundred percent and now her fever has gotten worse, her stomach was aching and her head was killing her. "Just let me go Sakura." Hinata pleaded. "HA! You think I'll let you go? No I want you to suffer, I want Naruto to think you're gone and he'll be mine." Sakura said all cocky. "No one will find you Princess so sit tight." Sakura replied before injecting Hinata with an unknown substance making her pass out. Sakura smiled at Hinata and walked out of the hide out. She was returning to the village acting concerned for Hinata's disappearance. Sakura wormed her way into Naruto's and Hinata's house, for over a week she was moved in and playing house. Cooking and cleaning while trying to get Boruto and Himawari to call her mom. She was "supporting" Naruto in his attempts to find his wife. Hanabi kept warning her brother in law that he needed to watch his back with Sakura. "Hanabi what do you mean? She's my teammate." He replied in shock. "Look all I'm saying is it's convenient that my sister disappeared and, a week later she's here trying to take Hinata's place, she's trying to get Bolt and Hima to call her mom! All of a sudden she's cooking and cleaning, trying to tell you to relax, she started redecorating the house and she sleeps here!" "What?" Naruto said in surprise. "You haven't noticed?" Hanabi said in surprise. "No, I've been out looking for Hinata I'm so exhausted." Naruto replied.

"I need to tell her to leave." Naruto said while getting up from his desk, Naruto fell back in his chair completely drained of energy. "No you need sleep, I haven't seen you hardly sleep once since Hinata disappeared, I'm gonna go out looking while you sleep. Than when I get back I'm going to sleep and you go looking. Deal?" Hanabi replied making a deal with a very worn out Naruto. "Deal." He replied getting up to sleep on his couch. After checking on the kids one last time she set out using her byakugan, she searched all through the village trying to find her sister, Searching through the near by surroundings and even inside The Hokage Rock, going all over it's secret passages with no luck. Hanabi eventually found herself going deeper and deeper into the forest of Konohagakure, until finally she found an under ground passage. Hanabi went in using her eyes to lead the way. There Hinata was laying down strapped to a table drugged out of her mind. "Hinata!" Hanabi called out "Ha-Huu-Hanabi?" Hinata spoke kinda slurring her words. "Yeah come one let's get you outta here." Hanabi replied while quickly remove the straps binding her sister. "Who did this to you?" Hanabi asked while supporting her sister up right. "S-Sa-Sakuuraaah sheee sh-did this." Hinata replied again slurring her words more. Hanabi was able to exit the hide out with her sister in tow, quickly leaving the area as fast as possible. "Hinata!" Someone called out in the distance "Oh Naruto looks like you got some rest." Hanabi replied while Naruto jumped in front of them.

"Where was she?" Naruto asked sternly "Some hidden hide out deeper in the forest." Hanabi replied while handing her sister over to Naruto "Who?" Naruto asked "Sakura." Hinata replied before falling back to sleep. After a day of sleep Hinata woke up in the hospital, she was questioned by the Hokage and Anbu telling them all she knew from the events. When she was finally discharged she was placed on bedrest, Naruto threw out all of Sakura's things. "Thank you Hanabi." Naruto spoke while carrying a box of Sakura's things and tossing them. "No problem." Hanabi replied happily. It took a couple of days for Hinata to feel better people were looking for Sakura. The Hokage removed Sakura's status as medical ninja. Everyone was on edge because they didn't know where Sakura was but they knew they were running out of time trying to find her before she made another move against Hinata.
