Sienna
I'm led into a huge room with its own seating area and attached spa bathroom.
There's a knock on the door, and a middle-aged woman enters. She is wearing what looks like a housekeeper's uniform.
"Good evening Miss, I have brought you some clean clothes for this evening. Please bathe and be ready at 6 pm for dinner. "
I look at the woman and burst into tears.
She is next to me in a flash.
"Please don't cry, miss. He is not a bad man. He is just misunderstood. "
I glare at the woman as I try to control my sobs.
"He kidnapped me and my sister. How is that good?" I snap.
"Miss Zuri will also be at dinner," she says to me with a smile.
My spirits instantly lifted hearing my sister's name.
"Okay," I nod and head into the bathroom.
"I will run your bath and lay out your clothes for tonight miss, call me if you need anything. Just ring the bell. "
Have I travelled back in time? Or is this just how rich people live?
I let the hot rose petal infused water soak into my body and close my weary eyes.
"Sienna, Sienna. I hear someone whisper my name. As I open my eyes, I see a woman who looks very similar to me standing at the end of the tub.
I jump with fright. "Who are you? What do you want?" I hear myself say.
"There isn't much time, my petal." Says the woman. "Don't be frightened and follow your magic. It won't lead you in harm's way."
"What magic are you talking about?" I manage to blurt out.
"He is the key to unlocking you, to help you reveal your true self,"
"Who are you? And why should I believe you?" She looks at me, walks over, and caresses my face "Because I am your mother" My eyes widen with shock at hearing her words, and as I see her evaporate in front of me.
I'm losing my mind. That's the only explanation for any of this. My mother? I don't even know who my mother is. The pain of not knowing has followed me throughout my whole existence.
Magic? The next person showing up will probably be Harry Potter or a vampire.
Despite all the craziness of the last twenty-four hours, I find myself smiling to myself, I'm definitely losing my marbles.
Zuri
I can not believe that out of all the men in the world, Sienna had to go and hook up with a werewolf.
Here I am, marching to my doom with said werewolf's brother no less.
I am pretty sure I manifested this. urgh, why did I have to keep asking if he had a brother?
I must be just as crazy as my sister because I find myself more intrigued than frightened. I know he felt the jolt of electricity between us as much as I did.
I smile as I sway my hips that bit more as I walk in front of him. I can't help myself as I flip my braids over my shoulder and give him a seductive smile.
He is staring at me with such anger that I can't help but tease him some more.
I purposely brush my hand next to his, making him flinch at my touch.
This puppy dog doesn't stand a chance against this sister.
"Why are you not afraid of me?" He asks as we reach a room big enough to be my apartment.
I walk up to him and run my finger across his firm chest as I look into his eyes and say, "It's you who should be afraid of me."
He takes a step back from me, unsure.
I can't help myself and let out a giggle.
"Relax, I am just messing with you, unlike my sister. I have grown up around the supernatural. I know you will not hurt me, "
He steps closer once again and looks into my eyes. "How can you be so sure, you don't even know what I am?"
"You are my mate, and I have been waiting for you." His pupils dilate with surprise, and he quickly exits the room.
There are definitely some perks of being a witch. Following my intuition is one of them.
I have been using a special spell to mask my scent for as long as I can remember.
My mother taught me at a young age that we were different, and people hunted our kind for our magical abilities.
I think that's why I was drawn to Sienna as children her aura could light up an entire city.
I have been helping to mask her presence, trying to keep her safe. A shiver runs through me. It's the first time in forever that I may not be able to cast the protection spell around her. I guess it's time to shine bright baby girl.
