I had to let her go. I will make her want this as much as me, if not more.

She will submit to me as Alpha she will beg me. I felt myself give out a little growl as I walked back to my seat.

I see her walking back towards her seat and notice that she is a little unsteady on her feet.

I want to jump up and scoop her up in my arms but I am also aware that all eyes will be on us if I did.

She sits down and looks anywhere but at me.

I can still smell her arousal and her fear mixed together. f**k I hope I haven't messed things up. Maybe I need to be more gentle. I realise I am so used to taking what I want that it made me a little hardened.

I see that some of the others have fallen asleep and others are busy reading books they have bought along.

The lights dim and I'm struggling to make conversation. The rest of the flight is fairly quiet, and we land in Bologna, Italy.

The private cars are there waiting for us to be driven to the the Grand Majestic in the middle of the city.

I have ensured that the staff will be kept super busy and now I need to spring the next part of my trap.

My mind feels like a tornado has whooshed through and ripped apart every part of my brain.

I'm still totally confused by Mr Sterling's actions. The logical part of my brain wants to punch him in the face and the other parts are so mad that he has left me devastated. I was sure that he was going to kiss me.

The curiosity of what it would feel like if he was inside me is driving me insane.

I need to stay away from him, but why do I always find him so close? I am drawn to his scent. The plane ride was torture. Why did I want to inhale a weird drum to my heart?

We reach the hotel, and like some miracle, we all have our own rooms. The company is going all out! I mean, wow, this place is insane. We have a few trips scheduled as a team but we are pretty much here to roam free.

The city is absolutely beautiful with a beautiful cathedral in the square.

There are little street vendors out selling handmade goods, and the food smells divine!

I put on a white sun dress with some strappy tanned sandals and a clutch. When not working I love wearing colours that make my tanned skin glow. I leave my hair down, feeling a little wild and wavy. I grab my sunglasses and get ready to leave when I hear a knock on the door.

I open the door expecting to see Zuri, but instead, I see Amanda there, looking really annoyed.

"Hey Amanda what's up?" I say with a smile "Hi Sienna can we talk?" I say "sure no problem" even though I can feel her icy behaviour towards me.

"Look Sienna I know it's probably non of my business but I wanted to ask you whats the deal with you and Mr Sterling?"

I'm flabbergasted and feel my mouth drop open. "Errm what do you mean Amanda? I only met him the other night at the restaurant."

"Look Sienna your a nice girl but I just want to let you know that we almost hooked up once and now that we are here I really want to try to rekindle that flame."

I can feel my anger rising. I mean look his behaviour is crazy but who is she to tell me who I can see or not.

"Look Amanda first of all there is nothing going on between me and Mr Sterling he is our boss. But honestly if there was you shouldn't try and come at me and try to stake your claim."

I see a strange menacing look in her eyes.

"Look Sienna you don't know what your getting yourself into with him.

Anyway I doubt he will go there with you I mean you don't even come from our world you don't belong with us."

With that she pushed passed me and stomps off.

I slump down on the bed. You don't belong in our world. Her words cut me like a knife.

I grew up in a orphanage and then bouncing from foster home to foster home until I ended up being fostered by Zuri's mum. I have felt like I have had to fight to prove myself to be worthy ever since I was born. Always feeling rejected why would my parents abandon me why did no one want me for longer than a year why?

I let a few tears escape my eyes it's been a really long time I have felt effected by someone's words.

There's another knock on the door and this time it's a note from Mr Sterling.

Dear Sienna,

I would love for you to join me for lunch this afternoon and give me an opportunity to apologise for my animal behaviour.

My plan was to run in the opposite direction of this man but after Amanda's hurtful words I'm going to take any opportunity to rub it in her face.

I wipe the tears from my face and grab my bag and phone.

I take a deep breath and say let's get this party started.

I am unsure if she will come. I know she was pretty quiet after our little bathroom incident.

I'm feeling pretty bad that I may have been too rough with her. She is human after all she is not used to our animal ways.

I'm pacing up and down the balcony of my suite. If she comes I will try to have the utmost control of myself. I will wait for her to give me an indication that she wants me.

I can smell her before she arrives outside the door. knock, knock. I hear my wolf howling from excitement and I can't stop myself from smirking. I knew she would come she wants me.

My assistant shows her her out to the balcony and I have to stop myself from walking over to her and kissing her senseless.

"Hi Sienna I am so glad you could join me."

She seems nervous as she says "I'm not sure why I am here Mr Sterling."

I can't help but be pulled to her and before I know it I'm holding her chin up and telling her to please call me James.

I can hear the blood pumping through her body, her heart thumping loudly I enjoy having this effect on her.

She suddenly pulls away and breaks the spell.

"Will anyone else be joining us Mr Sterling" she asks. "Call me James please" I correct her, and let her know it will be just us.

"Please relax Sienna I have already told you I will not bite you unless you want me to I give you my word.

She seems to relax and says "ok so where are we going to go eat? I'm starving."

We walk down some of the winding cobbled roads and end up at a family-run restaurant.

Sienna

He is gorgeous I just want to stare at him forever but I remind myself that I don't want to get carried away with daydreams. Like Amanda said we are from different worlds.

Then why does my soul feel like I know him? Why does he pull me to him like a magnet?

Lunch was going well I have learnt he has three younger brothers. He travels often and his family own a home here.

Oh god, now he is asking me.

I look down and start to play with the pasta on my plate.

"Ummmm Zuri is my soul sister and the only family I have.

I was dropped off at the orphanage when I was born and Zuri's mum took me in when I was 14 to save me from being bounced around foster homes."

His eyes soften Ugh is that pity in his eyes?

"It's cool" I say trying to be nonchalant.

He leans over touches my hand and says "who knows maybe you are a secret princess and you just don't know it."

I smile and quickly pull away my hand.

"That was great thank you for lunch."

I pull out my card from my purse to pay for lunch and I see him smile.

"Please put away your card Sienna I am a billionaire remember? Buying your lunch won't break the bank."

My pride feels hurt and I dig into my purse and drop down 40 euros for a tip.

He shakes his head and lets out a chuckle. "You do continue to surprise me."

We get up and walk back to the hotel.

Well, that was surprisingly pleasant.

Leaving me with more questions than answers.

Maybe he realised it was a mistake and he is trying to cover his tracks so I don't complain to HR about s****l harassment.

Hold on a minute he is the boss what would they even do?

"Hello Mr Sterling" I hear Amanda's shrilly voice grating against my thoughts.

"Hey Amanda" I hear him reply with a sense of familiarity. A pang of anger hits me yet I can not stop staring.

She has walked over to him and is using a husky voice to speak.

"Mr Sterling please won't you join us for a few drinks later in the bar across the street."

She's stroking his arm.

I can feel my rage building. I know she is doing this on purpose to make me feel inferior.

He's not pushing her away if anything he is leaning into her and whispering something into her ear. I see her expression change and she is smiling.

Enjoy your evening I say to them both as I turn around to leave. He grabs my hand and says "I will see you there."

Now I walk closer to him and give him my best doe eyes.

"Lunch was amazing thank you and I can't wait to see you later James."

I look over my shoulder towards Amanda smile lean in and kiss him softly on his cheek before I walk off swaying my hips, take that, you meanie.
