Her nightmares

Chapter 1~ The biggest mistake...

Kristina White is  a simple and kind lady, yet her beauty and attractiveness is breathtaking. But she is so good to use her beauty and perfect curves for seducing men. She has saved herself for her husband, which she believes they will meet someday and somehow and then will fall in love deeply and live a happy life together. But that day never came and she  got forced by her mother to marry a heartless rich playboy which was her childhood crush and neighbor, too. Her life after marriage wasn't as dreamy and wonderful as she had imagined. Actually, it was a completely hell. With a husband who doesn't give a s**t about her, what kind of life would she have?

But after her knight in shining armor arrives, will she be able  to survive the playboy?

If yes, then will he leave her alone forever, or the nightmares will never end?

I asked  my mother, shocked" Whattttt? You two want me to marry him?"

A few hours earlier...

I woke up, stretching my body, I had a good sleep, I think. But just then, I remember I have to meet a client at 8 sharp. Looking at my phone, it's 7:33. Oh God!How did I forget? How could I?

Yeah sure you were thinking about your good sleep, my inner Kristina telling me...

I smiled and said" Please be quiet I don't have time for you at the moment"

And got up from the bed. I went to the bathroom , took a REALLY quick shower and brushed my teeth. I dried my hair and left them freely on my shoulders, and put on a loose simple white shirt. I took my phone and keys, it was 7:42. Well, I can make it somehow.

I went out, locking my apartment, exiting the building I made my way towards my car, just putting my key into my purse, when all of a sudden I hit a very muscular and firm body. I looked up just to come face to face with two midnight blue eyes . Their beauty was breathtaking. I have never seen anything like those before. 

After a few seconds looking into his eyes, I finally managed to speak" Am, I'm sorry, I didn't see you, I didn't mean to..."

He cut me off and I could see worry in his angelic eyes"Are you alright? Did I hurt you? I'm so sorry..."

I was shocked. I was the one who hit him, still he is apologizing. I forced a smile and said" I'm fine, thank you, but no need to apologize, I was the one who hit you. I'm sorry"

He took a step away from me and said with a warm smile" No, it was my fault, too. I'm glad you're fine. Anyway, I am Timothee Robinson, Mrs. Robinson's grandson. Nice to meet you, though our first meeting wasn't that nice" He said with a grin.

Oh yes! That's why he is so nice! He is Beatrice's grandson. It seems all of the Robinsons are so kind and nice people. I cannot describe her with words, that kind of old sweet women which you will fall in love with them, whom always smile and cook delicious foods and give you sweet cookies. Ever since I came here living on my own in my own apartment, she hadn't let me feel lonely even one moment. She is like my grandmother. But it was weird for me that in two years I haven't seen her grandson.

We shook hands and then I said" Well, thanks Mr. Robinson. I'm glad I met you, too. I'm Kristina White. It's strange that we haven't met before since I have lived here for two years, but anyway I should be jealous of you for having such a kind and sweet granny. Take care of her, please"

Just then, I remembered my meeting. Panicked, I took my phone and looked at the time. Oh God! It was 7:49. I had barely 10 minutes to go to my office.

Mr. Robinson said" Please call me Timothee" And when he saw panic on my face, asked" Is everything alright?"

I answered" Oh yeah everything is alright, Mr. Robinson. But can we please continue this conversation another time? I have a meeting at 8 and I'm already late. Sorry I have to go. See you another time, it was a pleasure to meet you"

And with that I  didn't wait for his response and ran to my car. I got in and drove as fast as I could. god saved me that I'm still alive with how I drove. I arrived at my office just 30 seconds before 8. 

I fixed myself from all those rush and waited for the client to arrive.

Well, let me tell you about my job. I have worked since the moment I graduated from high school and meanwhile studying at the college. Not that I need the money, no. Frankly my parents were rich  and I didn't need to work to support me but actually I liked working. I got luck and found a good company and now I have worked here for five years and my position has became higher by time and now, I have the 5th important position in the company. My today meeting is for one of our important deals that should goes as well as possible. 

I waited for a few more minutes, when he finally came at 8:6'. I stood up from my seat and went near him. While shaking hand, I said calmly" You are aware that you are 6 minutes late, Mr. Lee. I should remind you our boss doesn't like such these things"

I mentioned him to seat on a chair and I myself took a seat. He started talking, his voice was like the drunk people" I know, I know. I'm sorry. It wasn't  meant  to happen like this, but my driver woke up late from his sleep, and over all it doesn't matter so much, right? Especially for someone as beautiful and young as you" He said with a seductive loose smile.

I cleared my throat And said" I understand sir, but if our companies are going to work together in future, as I said before, our boss wouldn't be liking this. Whatever, we've already missed time, it's better to start now. Our company opinion is that if your company comes with our conditions, there won't be any problem, although of course there will be some rules which you should..."

He cut me off and said" You've got beautiful curves, baby"

I saw that all the while I was talking, he was staring from the top to my bottom, but I didn't say anything, but I was shocked by what he said. He was coming out of the limit. I brought my head up and stared in his disgusting green eyes and said in a cod tone" Sir should I remind you that this is a professional meeting?"

He laughed like crazy people and said" Oh yeah I knew you are like those wild and fierce kitties, come on, just a little fun!"

He said and stood up from his seat. As he made his way towards me, I stood up and almost shouted" Hey what are you doing? I will call the security right now! Don't come any closer!"

I was stupid to believe he would listen to me and stop from coming near me. With each step he took I took one back until my back hit the wall. I couldn't believe it, I rushed so much for this drunk i***t? I thought Adams's company was strict on hiring employees. Now he was so close to me, I could smell the wine in his breath. 

He said" Why do you make it so hard? I know you want this, too. I promise, I won't tell anyone, trust me"

I couldn't hold myself any longer, and slapped him hard on face with my all strength. But suddenly his face expression changed and became really furious. He grabbed both my wrists so hard that started to hurt. I gasped in pain and then with his free hand he pulled my chin up. I couldn't imagine he was this strong.

He said angrily" Nice trashes like you are just to f**k. I won't allow you to raise your hand on me, asshole"

He wanted to slap me when I kneed him in his spot and he curled into a ball and finally let go of me. I ran to the door fast to call for help when I saw my boss, Mr. Benson behind the door.

I was breathless from all those drama with that bastard, and I became shocked to see my boss there. But as always he had a cold and calm expression on his face. I never really understood this man. There were two security men behind him. 

Mr. Benson said" Go bring and throw that asshole out of here"He said to those two men. Then he looked at me and said" Everything between Adams and us is canceled. I don't stand for someone to mess with me. You can leave for now, you will be off today, but before you leave, go to my secretary, she will give you something"

And with that, he was gone. He didn't even give me the chance to answer him. Hell like always. I'd better come along with that. I went and grabbed my purse and made my way towards the secretary departure. I saw the security led Mr. Lee out of the building. I went into the room and  got greeted by Rose, my boss's secretary. We were friends beyond co workers. I smiled and said" Hey, your mystrious man saved me from an i***t client today, told me you have something to give me"

She grinned and said" Hey, someone could hear you, don't say that loud, and plus there's not anything serious between us yet"

I smirked and said" Yet of course. Forget that Rose what did Boss left for me? I need to go, I have to visit my parents"

She smiled like evil and said" Well, if you want me to give that stupid folder to you, you should do some changes in what you said just a few moments ago" 

I huffed" Oh come on Rose! We are friends!"

She said" That's my reason"

I shrugged my shoulders and said" Okay, I am sorry, what I said was just the stupid of me..."

" And i will never ever tell those things again"

I repeated" And I won't tell those things ever again"

She smiled  satisfied and said" Okay here it is. I don't know what Liam...I mean Mr. Benson has put in but he left it for you"

I took the file from her and went outside, but of course after saying loud" Rose and Liam... . Beautiful names together"

I heard her yelling and laughed but I was already out. I suddenly remembered that I haven't eaten from morning so I decided to go to one near cafe Rose and I sometimes go in our break times before visiting my parents. But first I had to have a look at the file Mr. Benson, or I'd better say , Liam. 

I sat in my car and opened the folder. I read it. It was saying our COO, Mr. Haunter, had gotten into an accident and couldn't come to work and I was the one who should replace it. Whattt? I couldn't believe it. I have became the COO??!

Well, it seems I have something else to celebrate at the cafe. I quickly drove to the cafe and ordered a big chocolate cake with a milk shake. As the waitress brought my order and I started to eat, I heard a voice saying" Oh my gosh! Look who we have here! Kristina dear is that really you?"

I looked up and saw a woman in my mother's age standing beside my table and looking at me with joy in her hazel eyes. She looked familiar but I couldn't remember where and when have I seen her. I said" It's me, but forgive me I know you ma'am?"

She smiled warmly and said" Oh yes it's been so long since I saw you last time, it was 10 years. Don't you remember? We were neighbors"

Now I recognized her. she was Mrs. Adams, our old neighbor, and my mother's friend. I stood up and while shaking hands said" Oh, Mrs. Adams! I'm glad I met you after this long time,  it was really the smart of you that you recognized me after all these years, sorry I didn't recognize you at first"

She smiled and said" Well, I am not that smart, actually I was with your mother and she showed me a picture of yours. By the way, you have became so beautiful"

I said" Oh that's interesting and thanks"

She  saw the folder and said" Well I see you are busy, I won't bother you we will meet more day by day, say my hello to your mother again and thank her for everything" She said and left as fast as she came. I didn't even get the chance to ask for what should I thank my mother. You know, actually my mother and I didn't have that lovely relationship between. She was always so serious and wasn't that kind mom everybody had, so we weren't so close, and actually it shocked me to know that she showed my picture to Mrs. Adams. She doesn't care about me much, one of the reasons I wanted to leave our house and she didn't say anything, actually I think she became happy that she wasn't forced to see my face anymore.

But she wasn't always like this, someday, my family had its own happy time, before my younger brother, Sam, died in a horrible accident. Then everything changed between us. My mother wasn't that happy kind mother she was before. She didn't care about anything anymore. My brother's death was too much for her to tolerate. So she never smiled ever after that horrible accident.

I finished my cake and milk shake and drove to my parent's house. I usually go there, just to visit my father. And somehow I had to find out why Mrs. Adams said all those things to me and why did mother show her my picture.

I entered the house and loudly said" Hey dad, I' m home!"

I thought the first person I will see is my father, but surprisingly my mother was the one who welcomed me. She came downstairs and had a little smile on her face. She said" Welcome daughter, it's been long since you visited us last time. We missed you"

I was really shocked, I never expected those words to come out of my mother's mouth, but somehow I managed to say" Oh I missed you too mother, forgive me I was a little busy with the working. You fine? Where's dad?"

She took my hand and said" You should not pay all your attention to your job. What will happen to your personal life? When do you want to give me grandchildren? I'm fine, and about your father, we had an argue and he went out to walk for a while and get some fresh air" 

She made me sit in the sofa then I asked" What are you talking about mother? Which grandchildren? No forget that, why is dad gone? What did you two argue about?"

She became a little angry and said" Don't ask me so much questions young lady. I have something to tell you"

I asked" What do you want to tell  me mom?"

She said" Yesterday, I met my old friend, June or as you remember, Mrs. Adams"

I said" Yeah I saw her too, today at the cafe"

She said" Do not interrupt me, let me talk. She came here and we had a nice talk. She asked me about you. She was curious about you. I showed her a picture of you and she asked me something that I accepted. And it's the reason your father and I had an argument because he was unhappy with that"

I  asked" What did Mrs. Adams asked you mother?" I was loosing my patience.

She said" You remember her son, Lucian Adams?"

I frowned"What? Yes I remember him, but what's the communication?"

She answered" I think he will be a good husband for you, June asked me for you to marry her son, and I accepted"

I yelled" Whatttttt?"         

Hey! The first chapter ended! I never expected this chapter to be this long.
