She looked sideways at the end of the corridor, her eyes widening with both fear and alertness. She had been given a message to meet the vampires who were supposed to take her to her destination, the human village, safe. At the palace grounds, she would leave through the left side entrance. She had been warned to be careful not to draw the vampires her way or attract their sight.
