Zack had met Jake at his mother’s Sunday afternoon. Jake’s girlfriend was out of town, so the three of them played games and talked. It had been a good visit. Several times, he found himself distracted by the thought of Jen and his investigation. He had told them about Jen. His brother just grinned, and his mother insisted she wanted to meet her. Zack shared with them that he was working on trying to break up a trafficking ring. Jake sadly shook his head. “The victims are probably going to have a long road back to healing.
