Maeriso pushed the door of the room open with excitement and caution, both at the same time. But when it opened and the room laid ahead of him, he remained confused and terrified. The bed was empty and there was no sign of anyone inside the whole room at all. A cold shiver rushed down his spine and soon, Azrael joined him. He hurried inside and for a moment he froze, staring at the empty bed. A few cold beads of sweat started to rush down his forehead before he rushed to the window and scanned the gardens below him with his narrowed eyes. Soon enough, he spotted a very familiar silhouette walking around through the thick grass.
"She's outside-" he announced, and Maeriso turned on his heels, rushing outside, while Azrael crawled over the sill and jumped from the window, his wings spreading
