THE UNFATHOMABLE LOVE

The Beginning(7)

They saw the girls from the previous day waiting for them. As soon as they opened their door all of them got in. They started discussing irrelevant topics and Amaryllis kept quiet. Few of them were sitting on her bed, few on Penelope’s bed, few on the chairs and the remaining accommodated themselves on the study table.

Amaryllis kept her opinions to herself and was listening to the rest. Penelope and Maria were active participants in the conversation, sometimes Cheryl will also say a few sentences in between. It was Sunday and all of them spent time till lunch time. As it was time for afternoon all left and asked them to wait. As Amaryllis was closing the door, all of them were back with their plates. They all went in and occupied a big table, in a batch of three they went and got their lunch so as to secure the table and not let others sit over there.

After lunch they all went to their respective rooms and Amaryllis along with her roommates called their parents and went inside their room for the afternoon nap.

Amaryllis was cleaning and making her bed and Penelope asked, “Why are you cleaning it?” Amaryllis replied, “It’s because a lot of people sat on it and it's not good to sleep on the bed with dirt.”

After the small interaction Amaryllis was about to get into her bed a head popped out from above and Cheryl gave her a thumbs up and smiled at her. Three dots appeared on Amaryllis head and after 2 seconds she smiled and asked her to sleep. Amaryllis felt there was a little connection with Cheryl, a special bond. Amaryllis got into her bed and slept.

At around 5 p.m Amaryllis woke up as someone was knocking on their door, She went to open the door and asked what’s the matter. Amaryllis was seeing this person for the first time and had no idea what this female wanted. The girl at the door said she was looking for Penelope. Amaryllis asked her to come in and showed her Penelope’s side of bed and the girl went over and called her in order to wake her up. After Penelope was awake, Amaryllis nodded at her and went towards the washing area to freshen up.

While returning she met a female named Liya. Liya’s room was the last in the corridor and it was nearest to the washing area. Amaryllis started having a chat with Liya. In the process of getting to know each other, Amaryllis came to know that Liya and she had many common friends. She was very happy and instantly felt warm towards Liya. She bade Liya goodbye and went to her room and saw everyone was awake and also found the girl from before.

Penelope introduced the girl and said she was her classmate. The girl’s name was Blessy. Cheryl had an expressionless face whereas Maria was happily chatting with Blessy and Penelope. Amaryllis looked at Cheryl and gestured to her to freshen up so that they can go for their evening snack. Cheryl nodded and went to freshen up. After fifteen minutes Cheryl returned and told Penelope and Maria that they are going to have their evening snack.
