All of them started discussing the next day’s event. They were excited as well as nervous. Amaryllis went to the washing area and while coming back she dropped by Liya”s room and had a small chat with her.
When she returned to her room Maria asked her why she dropped by that room? Amaryllis replied she went to talk with Liya. Hearing this Maria frowned and said that Liya is a gossip monger and asked her to stay away from her.
Amaryllis was taken aback when she didn’t respond. Even Cheryl was confused and looked at Amaryllis. Penelope asked Maria why she said this. Maria responded as she knows Liya as they are from the same area and told a few more details.
Amaryllis found it irrelevant and was making her bed to sleep. As the study hour was over she called her parents and went to sleep. She couldn’t fall asleep thinking about the next day.
Same was the situation with her roommates. Amaryllis saw a small head popping out the upper bunk and saw Cheryl looking at her. She got up and asked Cheryl what the matter was. Cheryl replied she was unable to sleep.
Penelope and Maria were busy on the phone. Maria was busy with her sweetheart while Penelope was listening to their conversation. Cheryl got down and asked Amaryllis to accompany her to the restroom. They both left and had a small talk in the lawn area in front of their room.
When they came back they saw Maria was still busy on the phone while Penelope was half asleep. Maria and Penelope were sharing the bed. Maria was lying opposite to each other. Amaryllis helped Cheryl to climb onto the upper bunk and tucked her mosquito net after she settled and then went to sleep.
