Amaryllis had a policy of always admiring the beautiful and never hesitating to appreciate it. Amaryllis and Cheryl were busy looking at the beauties whereas Penelope and Maria were passing comments. Amaryllis knitted her eyebrows and looked at Penelope and Maria and asked them not to be hypocrites.  Penelope and Maria were always biased towards the people from the city as they thought they have loose character. Amaryllis and Cheryl never understood the reason why. Penelope was even against putting nail paints and cutting hair into different styles. Penelope’s views were very different from the others. (Anyways sorry for going out the point) After all the seniors went the caretakers proceeded to the entrance and asked the first years to follow. For the very first time Amaryllis and her roommates went into their college and this route will remain the same for the next four years. The distance between the Girl’s hostel campus main gate and the College gate was approximately 250 metres.  The huge crowd of around thousands entered and followed the caretakers. There were caretakers behind to manage the crowd. They had to go to the new auditorium which was built before their arrival. All the departments were to gather there for the morning assembly. Engineering Departments, Value Education Department, MBA Department, MCA Department and so on....... It was a huge auditorium having the capacity to seat nearly nine thousands of students. It was not on the college campus. It was away from the college campus and near the road. It took around fifteen minutes from the college main entrance to reach the auditorium. All the first year girls followed the caretakers.  Amaryllis and Cheryl were busy scanning the area whereas Maria and Penelope were finding faults in other people and making fun. They somehow joined the group of people who used to come to their room and those people asked them to keep quiet and they diverted the topic and Cheryl and Amaryllis also joined. Amaryllis was in awe with this place. She fell in love with this place. When they reached the main entrance of the college they were asked to stop. The security guard stopped the flow of traffic. The area was in the suburbs, the people living here were totally dependent on the college students for their survival so they only had shops for the students. The college was their lifeline. After getting the clearance signal from the Guard the caretakers proceeded towards the main venue.
