CHAPTER SEVEN

I arrive back at my apartment and kill the engine on my motorbike. My phone in my pocket starts vibrating. I pull out my phone and Hardin is calling me. "What's up? " I answer. "Hey Raven, I need you to come to the bar" he whispers on the line. "Why?" I answer back now worried. "Please come" and he hangs up. Something seems off about all this but Hardin is what I have closest to a friend and I quickly feed Nero and jump on my bike. I start the engine and hastily drive out of my garage worry consuming me. I again drive out into the night noticing it is a full moon.

I arrive at The Scorpion Bar and notice all the patrons outside. I kill the engine take off my helmet and place on my bike. I have my katana hidden on my back ready for any action. I walk into the bar bypassing the security man, I think his name is Ed and he notices me. "You can't go in there!" He shouts at me. I notice everyone is quiet and shock on their faces. "What happened?" I cut to the chase. Ed hesitates to answer me. "A fight broke out between two gangs, we had to evacuate everyone" I look around and don't see Hardin. "Where's Hardin?" I ask now concerned. "He is inside, he is hiding, they took over the bar, for your safety don't enter!". I ignore him and push my way through a couple of people waiting at the door. I don't care I am going in, Hardin needs me, I think to myself and I open the door.
