I woke up with Esme beside me.
At last the change is finished.
She is now a real vampire.
But this does not end it all. I still need to present her to the high council.
Our Esme her needs to pledge her alliance, and prove her worthy of the trust.
The final step, a test of her loyalty.
I sit and focus all my energy on listening to her heartbeat. I need to be accustom with the sound.
