We can't seem to catch a break. Literally. Just when I thought I was perhaps getting the hang of being a wolf, I learned that my mate and I were disowned. Simply because Strand can't swallow his pride and accept that he has no influence on fate at all. And this outlaw he hates so much is in his daughter's life for good. One would quickly assume, being new and all, that little fact won't make an impact and in a way that would be true, were I unable to feel my wolf's dejection. For some reason, he is acting like it is the end of the world, just like my mate. But my human part is yet to grasp what so bad about it. If you ask me, family is a load of bullshit. Especially the extended one. And we are lucky, in fact, we dodged a bullet by not being left to enjoy our own peace.
