(Aaliyah’s POV)
Naomi didn’t ask any questions when she opened her door and saw me standing there, my eyes brimming with tears.
She just stepped aside, letting me in and closing the door behind her.
Naomi came closer to me and let out a deep sigh, as she pulled me in. “Oh, Aaliyah,” I leaned into the hug, allowing the tears to finally drop. “God, Naomi, I… I don’t know what to… please tell me what to do.”
Naomi held me tighter, her hand gently rubbing my back in soothing circles.
“Oh, I wish I could, Aaliyah. I wish I could tell you exactly what to do, girl,” She pulled back slightly to look at me, her eyes filled with sympathy.
