With our plan already set in motion, everyone had their assignments.
Naomi and Diego were set to dig into DA Marcus Langley, because she, and I quote, ‘would rather have the devil as her partner than be paired with Chase Wharton a second time’.
Aaron was working on Commissioner Randall Thornton, Chase had Judge Lillian Hawthorne, and as for Jaime, he had taken the biggest fish of all—Senator Vincent Calloway.
And me, you ask?
Well, I was assigned to Councilman Elijah Moreno.
