Invitation to the party

Huifan was studying a book when she heard the most annoying voice that has pestered her for almost a year now.

It was none other than Jaiyao who despite being Meilin's fiance often comes to flirt with Huifan.

At first Huifan actually respected Jaiyao but seeing him flirting with other girls despite having a diance made him lose his respect in her eyes.

"Huifan look who's here" Mrs Zhang said bringing Jaiyao to the living room.

"Hello, Jaiyao brother " Huifan said in a nonchalant voice , keeping her gaze on the book.

"Hello Fanfan, how are you nowadays. " Jaiyao tried to initiate a conversation.

"good" another nonchalant reply.

"So Jaiyao what brought you here??" Mrs Zhang asked .

" Aunty actually our family is hosting a party to celebrate the big profit we earned this year , so I came to invite you and Huifan". Jaiyao stated excitedly.

"That's a really good news congratulations Jaiyao, every since you took over the business the profit is increasing every year ." Mrs Zhang said .

"Aunty I just did what my father taught me .

But I would really like if you guys can attend this party." Jaiyao said.

"Jaiyao actually the shop is quite busy these days but don't worry Fanfan will surely attend ."

Huifan glance in her mother's direction before diverting her attention back to her book.

"Aunty I'll take my leave then , I still have to invite Qin uncle and Fang aunty ". Jaiyao waited a moment hoping that Huifan would atleast say goodbye but she paid no attention.

After Jaiyao left Huifan tried to convince her mother that she doesn't want to go but her mother didn't listen.

Forced to attend a party where she will be constantly mocked by Meilin left Huifan no choice but to start meditation.

She was sitting with her legs crossed, eyes shut and hands resting in her lap , she was taking deep breaths, even though she was wearing no makeup she was still looked like a fairy , her jade skin reflecting the smooth rays of sunlight.

"What the hell are you doing ?" Nuan stood by the door her mouth hung open.

Huifan without opening her eyes muttered a single word " Meditation ".

"but why ?? oh my poor Fanfan I never thought that you would be soo stressed to start meditation. why didn't you say anything? " Nuan started wailing .

"I'm going to Jaiyao's party ." Huifan opened her eyes.

Nuan burst out laughing, clenching her stomach. " Even beggers avoid going to the party where Meilin is " .

"Ahhh NuanNuan you came." Mrs Zhang interrupted.

"Aunty how are you ?" Nuannuan said with a big grin .

"I'm good how are your parents, they told me that this year they are send you to Jaiyao's party , now you and Fanfan can both go together. " Mrs Zhang said .

All the colours left Nuan's face as she remembered the horror of what Meilin did a few years ago.

Few years ago at the party a waiter accidently dropped some juice on her dress and for an hour she screamed on the poor guy to pay for her dress.

Jiang li quickly got annoyed by her temper tantrums and threw the money on her face telling her to shut up, thing didn't happened as Jiang li expected because this only made Meilin scream harder. She began throwing cake and juices on others which happened to ruin Nuan's dress thus giving her never-ending trauma.

After that Nuan begged her parents to not make her attend any party Meilin is at.

That was already ten years ago when they were all just kids .

But instead of getting over Nuan's trauma got worse.

knowingly that if her parents told Mrs Zhang that she would attend this means that she'll have to attend otherwise she will lose a few months of her pocket money.

But how can she afford to lose money when she is planning on wooing Zhehan brother.

She asked Huifan to move a little and started mediating with her.
