Yvette's POV
I returned home after three hours, going through my journal which had every little thing I had discovered. Dave unexpectedly came to see me regarding what happened at the garage later. He looked grim and the sense of having Dave come at will had me sitting up and paying close attention.
"Were you able to figure something out?" He went straight to the point.
I didn't know what exactly I was expecting, but I looked away in disappointment when the words came out of his mouth.
"No… not really," I replied.
He nodded, dropping his gaze to the ground before he looked back up.
"Well, the boss has given his orders and I thought I should let you know. You have two windows to work in the company. You either leave by ten-thirty, spend three hours, come back by one-thir
