CHAPTER 15

Yvette's POV When she walked over to me and offered to check my body temperature, I slipped her phone out of her pocket. "Since you don't have any serious symptoms, I'll advise you to get some quality sleep. If the dullness persists, then I'll inform Mr Luther." "Sure, thank you." I watched her carefully to see if she noticed any missing items, but she just stepped back politely. "I'll leave you to eat up, but I'll be back shortly." The instant the door clicked shut, I scrambled over the corners of the room, searching for spots with the least access to the camera. Finding none as hidden as I wanted, I entered the closet, curling myself up to fit into one of the bigger cabinets. With shaky hands, I dialled my mum's number. I struggled to breathe in the enclosed space.
