Chapter 5 the protector

Matt's point a view

It's now Saturday witch I am glad because Iv'e been working two jobs since Thursday night,as I sit here on the couch watching the new scream there needed up being a sound of a knock on the door,as I got up to see who it was that when I saw Kayla.

Matt: hey Kayla it's nice to see you.

Kayla: hey Matt how's it going?

Matt:not much.so what brings you here on this Saturday?

Kayla: well I was wondering if Natalie is home.

Matt:yes she is she is in her room well at least I think she is you can go see if you like.

Natalie's point a view

It's Saturday and here I am stuck at home with nothing to do and I would go see Caleb but unfortunately he actually had to be some where that had to do with his mother. and just as I am listening to My music that's when I see Kayla who by the way just walked right in with out so much as a knock on the door.

Kyla: please tell me it isn't so.

Natalie:what are you talking about?

Kayla: you know what.

Natalie: no I don't please tell me what your talking about.

Kayla:you and Caleb.

Natalie: how did you hear about us not that it's a secret but who told you?

Kayla:Toby had told me.

Natalie: why would he do that?

Kayla: I think he's jealous maybe that's why.

Natanle:well I like Caleb and he likes me so nothing and no one will split us apart.

Just as us girl's where talking about what's going on in walked in Matt.

Matt: hey what's going on?

After My brother asked what's going on I new that I had to tell him before any one else and I already know how he's going to feel but like My mom said he can't have the right on who I want to be with and so that's when I told him.

Natalie: well Matt you see Caleb and I have been together.

Matt:ya I know.

Natalie: no Matt I don't think you do like Caleb and I have been together together and I know how your feeling right now but please let me explain it to you.

Matt: no there's no way he would disobey me.

Natalie:Matt please let me just.

Before I could say anything else that's when he got so heated and walked out of My room leaving Kayla and I behind,so I know I had to go after him telling him how it shouldn't be a big deal...........................................................................................................

Just as I caught up to him befor he reached Caleb's house I soon got infront of him telling him that he needs to hear me out,that also he isn't home witch he should know cause his car isn't here,so with that we both turned around and head back to our house and that's when our mom pulled up into the drive way and saw us yelling at each other.

Then shortly after that Caleb ended up pulling up to the house,that's when I saw Matt's face become five shades of red I know what he wanted to do but he didn't cause My mom told him to stand down,get inside the house,with that the three of us went in the house so we can talk..........................................................as we went in Kayla said that she had to go and with that I shut the door so the four of us could talk.

Caleb's point a view

As I pulled up infront of her house that is when I've seen the look on Matt's face where I was like oh s**t he know's but if it wasn't for Natalie and Matt mom he would be up in My face witch I can not blame him because I did tell him that I would keep an eye out for Natalie but instead mine and her body have been all over each other. just as he went in the house I walked up to her and I told her that we shouldn't have done what we did let alone I shouldn't have made the first move and that's when she told me that it didn't matter because she felt that it would of eventually happen,so with that we both walked in the house behind her mom so we can all talk about what's been going, as we sat down on the couch that is where there mom had spoken first.

( from this point there will be talking with everyone just for this secane sorry that this is a little long argument)

mom: okay so now that everyone is sittting down calmly we can talk about what's going on,so I am going to have Natalie go first along with Caleb then you Matt can say what you have to say then we will just take it from there. so Natalie go ahead and start.

Natalie: well I think Caleb should start mom since ya want to know every thing.

mom: I don't care witch one of you start just palease say what you've got to say so we can move on from this.

Caleb: well I will go. okay so this is what happend I eneded up going up to Natalie's bed room to talk with her witch I told Matt that's what I was going to do before I left,so when I did well I put the first move on her but that was after we both had confessed how we felt for each other.

Matt:ya and I told you not to even try it and you gone and done it (with anger)

mom: Matt stop it wait you turn Caleb go ahead finish saying what you need to say.

Caleb: as I was saying I put the first moves on her after................................... and from there own yes it's been a secret till now and trust me I didn't want it to be that way but I know how Matt would feel if he was the first to find out and we where going to tell him before it was to late and by late before any one else that knows that would tell him.

Mom: okay Natalie you may go say what you need to say.

Natalie:okay well it's just like Caleb said I was in my room and he came up.............................................................................................................. since then we just been doing what we've been doing during school and at his place I mean at first he was seeing if I ever had thought about him I told him I haven't but he knew it was lie the whole time when he confessed to me first and when I did that is when he knew,like I am 18 I am not a kid any more and I should be able to be with who ever I want. Matt can't tell me or whoever that it's not going to happen I just wish he would not be so over protective like Caleb has nothing but been nice to me and he's been doing what he is tiold at the same time so technically he hasn't broken the vow you wanted him to do, he's been making sure I am okay and that no other guy will take adventige of me.

mom can you just tell Matt to back off ?

like you even said I can be with whoever I want as long as I am happy and that is what I am I am happy like I love you Matt and I know your looking out for me but I can look after my self to you know.

mom:well she dose have point son you just have to back off.

Matt: but mom.

mom: no butts you need to back off and let them be happy you can't be mad besides Caleb is a nice kid you know that you two have had each other's back for god knows how long.

Mat:well I still think it shouldn't happen.

Natatlie: well I hate to tell you Matt it's been happening and it's going to keep happening.

Matt:Caleb how could you do this? you are My best friend.

Caleb: I'm sorry bro but the heart wants what it wants and it wants her and her's wants me.

Natalie: Matt your just going to have to except it rather you like it or not.

Matt: I can't believe you two and mom seriously your taken sides with them?

mom:now Matt that is enough .

Natalie: besides brother there is someone that's been wanting to get with you she told me at school a few days back,so if you would like I can have you two meet if not then well I tried but Caleb and I love,like each other.

Matt: are you kidding? I wont go out with anyone from that school I like girls around my age well in my case women.

And with that that's when Matt walked out of the living room and headed up to his room and as he did that is when we herd his door slam.

Natalie's point a view

All I can say is thank you to My mom for being on My side with this like I know that Matt is just protecting me but Caleb has been so good to me and that should be the only thing that matters besides if he was ever to hurt me and I've told him I know for a fact that he would beat the crap out of Caleb. but seeing how it's My life and I want to live the way I want anyways My brother is just going to have to let it be as that.

Matt's point a vew

All I could do is sit on My bed while being angery at the fact of what is going on,what he did got me so mad like he is My best friend. how could he just go and do that to me?

And like may be I did take things too far with protecting Natalie but she is My little sister no matter how old she get's by the year, I just want to be here for her I missed her so much when she was gone, with me not being able to be there with her it hurt but now that I see I'm overprotective I need to at least give it a try to let her take care of thing's her self so she can be happy.

And I know if she needs me I will always be here for her no matter what,with that I let it go and ended up just going about My own thing, like Caleb I will still and always be best friend's with him,I know we will contiue to still hang out as well.

As I started to head out that's when Natalie cought eye and asked where I was heading off to.

Natalie: where you going?

Matt: I am heading out to go see Kayla.

Natalie: okay tell her I said hi.

And with that I headed out to go do My own thing...................................................................... as I arrived at Kayla's house I went up to her front door and knock on it and as I wait for her to answer the door that's when I saw her.

Kayla: hey Matt is every thing okay ( with a worry look on her face)

Matt: ya I just came to see if your okay and to tell you sorry that you left due to the situation that went on.

Kayla: it's okay you have no need to be sorry I left on My own it's not like I was drivin out,I knew there was things that needed to be talked about.witch by the way how did that turn out?

Matt: well at first what was said I was very mad about but now I had come to sense that I have to let My sister do what she wants and that's to let her be with Caleb.

Kalya: you know he wont hurt her right? and besides if anything I will make sure of that when your not around.

Matt: I know he wont and no don't theres no need I do and will trust him to not hurt Natalie and lets just say if he dose I will be the one to go after him.

Kalya: well I am off to a party do you want to come?

Matt: I'm not doing anything so ya I can join you.

Kayla: okay well we can take My car.

As we both left her house in her car we both head off to a party that she was about to go to before I had sown up at her place. as we got there I had seen some familiar face's

As I had one too many and so has Kayla we both knew we had to head back home and seeing how I was more s**t face then her she would have to drive us back home..................................................................................................................................................

as she droped me off at home that's when I got to My front door and headed up to My room and just plopped on My bed,then passed out.

Natalie's point a view

It's the middle of the night and I herd what sounded like foot steps and so as I watied for them to be faint I gone and open My bedroom door and that's when I've seen My brother and the looks of it he was drunk I don't know where he went but it just had to be with Kalya but at the same time I don't know that for all I know he could of been at a bar instead, so as I shut My bedroom door, that's when I walked back to my bed,reached for My cell and even though it was late I called up Kayla to find out if them two where together all night.

Kayla: hello?

Natalie: he Kayla it's Natalie I am so sorry to be calling you so late but where you by any chance with Matt the whole time from when he left our house?

Kalya: ya we went to a party.why is everything okay?

Natalie: ya I herd what sounded like foot steps and so I opened My door and that's when I saw him walk by My room not walking stright.

Kayla: oh ya he had one too many. (as she laughed)

Natalie: I saw that well I will let you go back to sleep see and talk to you later.

and with that I ended the call and went to sleep.

Caleb's point a view

As I lay here in My bed alone all I do is think about rather or not I want to call Matt like I am his best friend and best friends look out for each other but at the same time I want to give him space cause I believe that's what he wants right now and so with that I ended up calling My angel to see if she's still awake. as the phone kept on rigning with no answer that's when I knew she must be a sound a sleep,so that's when I put My phone down and just went to sleep My self as I told My self that I would see her when upon waking up later.
