A week

It's been a whole week since I made the huge decision to move in with Michael. He's been amazing. He's loving and sweet and very attentive to my needs. He's been gone for a while and I wasn't sure what to do with myself so I started to explore the mansion. I came across this small door just down the hall from our room. It wasn't very big but it was still beautiful. It was emerald green with a beautiful gold handle with what looked like small golden flowers twining down the handle. As I opened it I went into this massive room. A library. Filled with massive bookcases that reached the ceiling. The floor was a soft grey marble and the walls were white with a beautiful gold trim. The ceiling was painted with beautiful cherubs with rosy cheeks. Each book was neatly placed in alphabetical order on the shelves and an old victorian style lamp was sitting on a table next to one of the bookcases with a small cushioned chair sitting beside the table. I decided to grab a book with a slightly worn cover and sat down to read. It was Little Women. I got halfway through the second chapter when Michael walked in unnoticed. I read a little more until he cleared his throat. I looked up from the book and smiled. Telling him I'd never read this one before. He grinned and said I have a surprise for you as he walked closer. He got down on one knee and pulled out a small black box encrusted in tiny jewels and slowly opened it. Inside was a beautiful ring. The band was silver and sitting on top was a cluster of tiny diamonds and in the very center was a beautiful blue diamond. "Will you marry me," he said. My jaw dropped in disbelief. I had to force it closed. Finding my voice I let out a small squeak of a yes as tears rolled down my face. He slid the ring on my finger and crushed me to him and kissed my head gently. I love you. And I'm never letting you go. "I love you more," he said. And enveloped me in his sweet embrace.
