Chapter Thirteen - The confrontation
Tami's POV
With anger, I stormed out of the room with my phone clutched tight to my hands. Once I was outside the room, I paused to release a heavy sigh as I felt anger course through my veins. I hated how George admired that woman. What was so special about her that made less interesting to him?
My thoughts were interrupted by another beeping noise from my phone. I gazed at the screen and my eyes widened in shock at the content of Alessandro Migeul's text. Gabriella was married. She was married to a famous and wealthy doctor named Lucian.
I felt relief wash over me and a smile crept on my face as I realized that George would not have a chance with Gabriella as long as she was married. I walked back into the room with excitement written all over my face. George was still lying on the bed with his phone clutched tight to his hands and his eyes glued on the screen. I bet he had not how wide the smile on his face was.
I fought back the urge to wipe that grin off his face as I cleared my throat and called out his name. "George."
At first, I got no response, it was almost like I was invisible. It made me grit my teeth in anger and clench my fist tight as I called out his name louder and in a much harsher tone. "George!"
"What is it that you want Tami?" He snapped at me in a bored tone. Even before I could reply to him. He beat me to it. "Can you not see that I am busy?" He raised his left brow in my direction. I scoffed and eyed him with disdain. "Busy staring at someone else's wife?" I spat out bitterly.
My words were enough to cause his phone to slip out of his hands. George adjusts his posture on the bed and a serious look appears on his face. "What do you mean by someone else's wife? Is Gabriella married?" He asked with curiosity laced in his tone. I rolled my eyes at him and nodded my head in agreement. "Yes George, she is happily married to a rich doctor," I replied.
I watched George in awe as my response caused the smirk on his face to fall and a disappointed look reappear. "Really? Were you really into that girl?" I stared at him in disbelief. If Gabriella had not been married. Was George really going to cheat on me with her?
George ignored me. I watched him rise to his feet and sluggishly drag his feet towards the front door. I hastily rushed towards the door and blocked his path to stop him from leaving the room. I forcefully wrapped my arms around his shoulder and planted kisses on his face.
"Come on George, play with me a little bit." I bit my lower lip seductively and winked at him. The bored and uninterested look on George's face made my countenance fall. I watched as he slowly pushed my hands off his shoulder and shoved me away from his path. My face fell in defeat and I felt tears prick from the corner of my eyes.
Without wasting any more time, I dashed into the kitchen where I usually kept the drugs I bought from Alessandro Miguel. I was going to make George lie in my arms tonight, even if it meant drugging him. I added a little pinch of the drug into a wine glass and I poured his favorite alcoholic wine into the glass.
I mixed the wine together with the substance and dropped it in front of George. His eyes moved from the screen of the laptop in front of him to my face. He sighed heavily. "At least have some drink since you refuse to have me in bed tonight." I said with a playful smirk playing on my lips.
George nodded his head at me. I watched him gulp the liquid down his throat. His attention went back to the screen of his laptop while I went back to the room to change into the sexiest clothes I had, a fitted armless mini-dress.
I lay on the bed and in less than an hour, George was crawling towards me. I smashed my lips against his aggressively. His hot breath danced around my neck, causing me to hear a loud moan. I allowed George's hands to explore every part of my body like it was a piece of art. George planted several kisses on my body and that night was the best of my life.
I reminded myself that no matter what, I would have George right in the palm of my hand. The next morning, I arrived at work a little later than George. I slowly walked towards his office. Just as I was about to push the door open, I was shocked to see Gabriella stepping out of his office. She had a smile plastered on her face.
I furrowed my brows in confusion as George stepped out of the office as well. He had a smile plastered on his face and they both seemed to be laughing about something.
"So, I'll see you tonight Gabriella?" George raised a brow at her, totally ignoring my presence.
"Sure, see you tonight George," Gabriella replied. She turned around and slowly cat-walked away.
I was furious, I felt anger wash over me. Without wasting any more time, I rushed towards Gabriella, ignoring George as he yelled my name severely.
"Wait there!" I yelled at her. Gabriella turned to gaze at me with a raised brow. She had a cocky look on her face that made me feel hatred towards her. Who did she really think she was?
"Hi Tami, I hope you are doing well?" She asked.
I scoffed at her pathetic attempt to play cool. I was losing it. Without thinking twice, I yelled at her. "Stay away from my husband or I will make you regret your stay here."
