I HUGGED MYSELF as the cold ran through my skin. A blanket is wrapping around me, but I can still feel the cold breeze from the rain. The rain is pouring hard outside, and I can’t even see the road ahead of us. I don’t know how I ended up inside this car. All I know is I am sitting in the passenger seat, hugging this blanket around me.
When I sneezed, he deliberately turned off the car's aircon. I'm really thankful for that cause I've been dying in the cold here.
“Nandito na tayo,” saad ng lalaking nasa tabi ko.
“I know.”
Tinanggal ko ang kumot na nakabalot sa akin at mabilis na umibis palabas ng kotse. Pagbaba ko ay sinalubong ako ni Yaya Tessa na may dalang payong. Hindi na ako nag-abala pang lingunin siya at dire-diretso ng pumasok sa bahay.
