Few days had passed ,precisely five days since Rocky found out the truth about my kind and passed out.

He’s still laying unconscious at the infirmary, priya still checks up on his vital signs but he appears to be doing fine physically.

She says that he probably felt on a deep sleep since his brain couldn’t handle what unfolded that day.

Liam , Paco and Derek have been taking turns to check up on him when I need to take break.

Oh yeah, Liam found out about Roque three days ago when he found Derek and Paco fighting over who’s turn it was to go relieve me at the infirmary.

They had to come out clean but of course he felt a little left out since the other two knew everything before he did.

I had to come up with a lame excuse like the busy schedule, finally he was cool with it.

I just left infirmary and I’m on my way to town to meet Rosa, the head of sister coven.

I need to discuss with her about the protection spell, only she would know the answer.

I had to take the car because I’m avoiding vera, I’m still mad at her for what she did.

In a few, I arrive at the town and head to the coffee shop we agreed to meet on.

I pack my car outside and head over inside.

Immediately I set foot inside the door, her power radiated and lingered all over the place making the air thick but as soon as she felt my presence, my dominance took over and she lowered hers.

I’m glad that she’s not forgetting that she’s still in my territory and she should show respect.

I walk over to her my boots stamping the ground in a thud.

“Your highness”, she acknowledges as soon as she sees me with a light bow .

We are still in the midst of humans so no need of high formalities. I thought to my self.

“Hello Rosa, thank you for agreeing to see me”, I greet her as I take my sit on the opposite direction from where she was sitted.

“Of course , it’s an honor to be of service to you . Your highness”, she expresses still keeping her head down, she’s feeling intimidated and I can’t blame.

My story out there is not so pleasant, so she’s avoiding to get on my wrong side.

And before we had this peace treaty, there was a war between the wolves and the witches.

It was called the Wwar..

The witches were killing the wolves after they were manipulated and mind poisoned by the hunters.

We tried explaining and finding solutions but the killing continued until we were ambushed by the hunters and the witches at night . That horrendous night that caused a lot of lives of my people.

That night my parents passed away and I had to take over the throne in the midst of war.

That’s when the vampires joined us in fighting against the witches and the hunters and we won.

Apparently, the witches had also began killing the vampires by the order of the hunters.

After that night, the hunters went to hiding led by the Salvador brothers, and the head of the witches at that time was killed by Vera’s canines as she was already corrupted with dark magic.

That’s when Rosa took over as the head of the witches and signed a peace treaty with both the wolves and the vampires.

And we all came to an agreement to work against the hunters for they are killing only the supernatural.

That explains why Rosa was only one call away when I needed her.

“No need of formalities Rosa. We are with humans now just call me Victoria.” I propose giving her a smile.

I see her take a deep breath , looking a bit relaxed then she nods.

“Okay, Victoria”, she hesitantly state .

“Okay good. So as you have heard the Salvador brothers are back and they attacked my pack a few weeks ago. Reportedly, They have a hide out up north in the midst of humans but the property is protected by a spell, by an element witch”, I explain as she keenly listen.

“An element witch you say, you know they can only break their own spell, other witches can’t. If they try, it may cause death”, she says .

“I know Rosa, what I need is your help in finding out which element witch might be working for the hunters, that’s all”, I tell her.

She looks to be deep thought for second before speaking out again.

“As you know there are four elemental witches representing the four main elements. The earth, fire, Water and air. Now we have to exclude both the witch of fire and water”, she explains making me confused for a second .

“Why?”, I question curiously.

“That’s because each witch can only control the element she stands for. The witch of fire can only control fire and same goes to the elemental witch of water. Besides the Elemental witch of fire is under probation so even if she could have been a suspect , it would be impossible since she can’t have access to her power”, she explains before continuing.

“So it’s either the elemental witch of air or earth because they both can control the environment. I will use my connection to know their whereabouts then we can know for sure who is hiding the enemy”, she concludes.

“Okay Rosa, thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Please let me know if anything comes up as soon as possible”, I express as stretch my arms to shake hands with her.

She gladly take my hand and shakes it as she smiles.

“Of course your..Victoria. It’s a pleasure to work with you”, she earnestly expresses.

“The pleasure is all mine. I’ll be leaving now. Hope to hear from you soon”, I say as I get up from my sit ready to exit.

Rosa gets up from her sit and bows her head as I take my leave.

I’m really glad she’s of help, elemental witches are known to be strong but having a whole coven by my side is a relief.

I get inside the car and start the ignition as begin to drive back home.

I have this heavy yarn feeling in my heart that I can’t seem to ignore.

From the moment I drove away from the pack house , I was feeling it heavy inside me.

The mates bond is getting stronger each day as the days go by.

We might not have had a proper conversation with Roque regarding our relationship but the mates bond can’t be avoided.

I just pray to the goddess that he gets up soon from his deep sleep so I can have this conversations with him.

He needs to know everything pertaining a mate and the mates bond.

I know that sooner than later the heat will follow and it’s going to be hard for the both of us if we will not be on good terms.

I heard that when the hear strikes, the closer you are to your mate the better.

Well, personally, I have high tolerance for pain but him is another story.

That’s why I need him to wake up already. He need to understand everything about my kind and he should also know of his responsibilities.

Roque now is not just my mate , he’s also the king of the werewolf world and that’s damn heavy.

There will be threats, expectations, criticism and a whole lots of other things that’s comes with a crown . As the saying goes, only the bearer knows the heaviness of the crown.

Well, this tittle is not an easy job . I know it since it’s where I am now.

But for Roque it’s gonna be a bit harder for him.

He’s human and I know a lot of people will take advantage of that fact .

As much as me, Derek and the entire pack are behind him , he also needs to have the confidence and thick skin to survive the days that are coming.

And that’s why I need to him to wake up so we can start already where we can.

“Your highness”, Liam calls out through the mind link.

“Yes Liam ,did something happen. Did Roque wake up?”, I question excitedly.

It’s crazy how that’s the only thing that crossed my mind.

“No it’s not that”, Liam chuckles as he responds.

“Then what is it , I’m almost there. Can it wait?”, I question feeling a little annoyed.

“No it can’t. I needed you to prepared mentally that’s why I am telling you before you arrive. Luka is here”
