Chapter 15

So just a little heads up, I’m going to use the third person pov in this chapter because I want to bring in a lot of characters. So yeah!enjoy :)

Rocky is on the floor unconscious after finding out the truth about Victoria in the worst way possible. Now remember Vera has control over Victoria but since Vera is more of an animal than human , she doesn’t seem to see the big deal with the repercussions of her mistake.

Victoria, she’s still trying to fight for dominance against her predator side so she can take her mate to the infirmary.

After what felt like blue moon, of her pushing through the barrier that Vera was creating,she finally gets back control and turns back to her human form,

First things first,

She’s batshit naked, so obviously she has to cover up with the closest outfit she could find ,Rocky’s shirt.

Don’t judge her, it’s not like she wanted to see her mate’s naked chest , or maybe she did , but who cares when later on they will definitely screw, as long as she has covered her fat ass on something.

Now, she’s strong, remember she’s a werewolf, not just an ordinary one but an alpha of the royal pack. That alone should give you a little fraction of the strength and brawniness she’s capable of.

So, She had to carry her mate bridal style , but come to think of it, in this situation it’s groom style. I know you get the picture.

She sprints out of her office heading to the infirmary to save her mate before she looses him.

Arriving at the infirmary, the nurses come in quickly to help her out.

They take Rocky to the room then doctor Priya, the pretty one?, yeah that one. Is called to check on her favorite patient.

Victoria is sitting beside Rocky, she’s worried and she’s blaming herself for what is happening to Rocky, she’s hating herself for not being strong enough against her wolf.

She had a plan on how to bring the supernatural thing to Rocky, she wanted to have a good conversation with him before anything.

Normally, before you tell your new lover about your darkest secrets, we develop strong connections first, get to know each other for a while before now sharing whatever skeletons we have on our closet.

So this was Victoria’s plan, still there’s a mystery about the medinas and Nop I’m not going to tell you , Let Victoria figure out everything then she will definitely let y’all know.

Back to the matters at hand,

Doctor priya comes and check Rocky’s heartbeat and other vital things, you know what doctors do.

“Is he going to be fine?”, Victoria questions as tears threaten to fall from her brown orbs.

“I’m not sure but his heartbeat is stable , I think he’s in a state of shock, what exactly happened?”, the doctor inquires.

“Well, he found out about some news and he just collapsed, please save him pri . I’ll do anything so please save him”, Victoria pleads with pri and all pri could do is nod .

Priya is obviously worried for her Alpha.

Victoria is not always vulnerable or one to show emotions easily but since Rocky showed up, well let’s just say he brought a different side of Victoria.

Doctor priya is trying her best to help out the stranger that her queen and Alpha is worried about.

She’s been curious about the connection they have but she’s never found it out.

The last time she tried to inquire but unfortunately the conversation was cut short.

Rocky is laying unconscious, the doctor is trying everything she can and Victoria is worried out of her mind.

On another very important character, the big bad beta, Derek.

Derek is seen working out. He’s in shock too by the news he just received.

He’s toned apart, between duty and friendship.

He feels betrayed that his childhood best friend hid something so crucial from him , but the beta intuitions is forcing him to always support his Alpha regardless of the situation.

Derek and Victoria have always been close, but after the incident with Victoria’s parents, Victoria grew a little distant.

She was grieving, confused, furious and with so much vengeance.

And that kind of made them drift apart for a short while, but y’all have heard from their point of views , they still care about each other greatly.

Now to another important character, Paco. Paco is their best warrior and also the best tracker.

Since the scenario with the Salvador brothers, he’s been trying everything in his power to find the hunter’s new hiding place.

Luckily, he was able to follow scents for days and also using his informants, finally he found a property in the woods .

He tried to walk in to make sure that this was the new hiding spot of the hunters but he couldn’t do it.

Not because he was scared, no . He literally couldn’t because there was a barrier that was stopping him from going in.

This is bad news.

You ask why??

Well, because apparently the hunters are now working with the witches. How bad is that.

Two forces that could kill any werewolf are connected.

Paco inquired everything about the spell from the other witches who don’t live with their covens anymore,

Some are outcasts and others simply decided to run away, maybe because of some outrageous rules like killing babies if they are born as male.

Yeah, you heard right.

Witches have a rule and a believe that a male witch is an abomination, so if you give birth to one, you must kill him.

Paco used the work of one of the witches who lived in a near by town, Lisa, she runs a bar like a Normal human.

Almost perfect way to be discrete.

Since paco and Lisa seem to be sharing something more intimate than just some supernatural secret, she agreed to help him out.

Lisa and paco go to the place where the barrier begins, she does her mojo thingy but she couldn’t open the barrier. Cause apparently it was cursed by an element witch and only an element witch can undo the spell.

Lisa agrees to help paco find out which of the element witch is responsible, while paco goes back to the castle to inform the Alpha and Beta about his new findings.

He walks straight to the office but it’s empty so he tries to mindlink them both but the Alpha’s link is blocked so he only manages to speak to the Beta.

They agree to meet at the gym where Derek is trying to burn off some steam and simply mop off alone.

“Dude!!”, paco exclaims as soon he sees the condition his friend is on.

His entire shirt is drenched and the punching bag is barely hanging on.

“What did the punching bag ever do to you??”, paco jokingly question as he sit on the leather bench.

“I’m just not in the best of moods now, what’s up”, Derek flatly states as he unknots the hand ties on his arm.

“I mean when are you ever in the best of moods??”, paco teases.

Derek having a lot on his mind, he doesn’t respond. He takes a bottle of water from the mini fridge and joins paco on the bench.

“So what’s up”, Derek questions after taking a big gulp of the cold water while trying to even out his breathes.

“Before that, where’s her majesty?”, paco asks Derek.

Derek takes a moment before answering that question because he’s not sure whether he is the right person to tell paco that the human guy that Victoria almost killed turned out to be her mate and the future king.

He decides not to, he knows it is not in his place to tell the secret. Besides, Victoria must’ve had her reasons not tell everyone the moment she found out.

“Not sure, probably in the office”, Derek responds.

“Naah, she’s not there, in fact her link is blocked. Is she in a foul mood again?”, paco comments, making a scowl on his face.

Derek doesn’t help but smile for at least he’s not the only one who’s figured that Victoria’s mood could change in a snap.

“Maybe she needs some time alone, we’ll see her later”, Derek states as he gets up .

“I hope so cause I need to inform you both on something important, and please go shower you rick”, paco expresses dramatically as he put fingers on his nose pretending he’s disgusted.

“Yeah right, shut it or tomorrow I will put you on night duties as a patroller” Derek threatens.

“Uh , sorry bro . I was just kidding. I meant I was The one Who’s stinking”, paco defensively states as he displays an awkward smile.

Derek simply smiles as he walks out of the gym heading to his chambers leaving a frustrated paco who’s worried about the night shift patrol when he has a date with Lisa.
