Chapter 21
Roque’s POV Confusion, betrayal, excruciating pain and fear . These were everything that I felt the moment I opened my eyes and found myself inside the hospital, laying on a bed. My entire body felt like it was burning and nothing could extinguish it. The wave of the fire spreading all over my entire body had me lose my balance and my eyes blurred. I could hear voices and movements from my surrounding but I couldn’t tell who they were, only a feminine voice which was familiar and other masculine unfamiliar voices. The next thing I felt were two strong arms carrying me effortlessly and placed me on a cool surface which for a minute it helped with my body temperature.
