“This is what you want. So be it. Leave it to me.”  With those words, it disappeared. When it made its way to Rain’s room, the girl was in bed. Asleep. But it was more than that. It couldn’t really explain it. It couldn’t put a finger on exactly what. But it knew, something was off. It could feel it. And so, it didn’t immediately act. It waited. Hidden in the shadows. Invisible. Watching. A day later, it knew what was wrong. The girl wasn’t sleeping. The girl was a traveller. And she had gone somewhere else.
