“There is a girl,” Rain had said days ago. And then, nothing.  Sky did not push. He did not hurry. He did not guess. All he did was smile. And wait. Patience he had in endless amounts. There was little else in the foreseeable future, as far as he was concerned. This was the last chapter of his long and exciting life. And he was hoping for a remarkably slow ending to his story.  And so, he remained seated, and smiling, and waiting, as she left in a fluster. She came to him the next morning, for lessons. He had lots to teach. And she had lots to learn. And a little bit of fluster wasn’t going to come in the way of that. Days passed. Lessons continued. And the unsaid grew weightier.
