Grace Mason didn't even blink. "Sure." "My stuff's in the backseat of her car," I told him, tipping my head toward Olivia, who was still giving me the look. "A duffel bag and a backpack. That's everything." Mason's eyes dropped to me, his expression unreadable, but his voice was a steady, quiet rumble. "I'll help you bring it up." He didn't ask if I wanted help. He just grabbed his keys off the hook by the door and strode out ahead of us into the driveway, leaving no room for argument. We followed him down to the driveway in silence.
