The slender and elegant woman nodded to Reina coolly. It was obvious that Claire was not as happy as Grace to have Reina in the house.
Claire put down the teacup and said, "Grace, why don't you go and see if the dessert is ready?"
"Mom, Darren asked to see Reina right away. She can have dessert after that."
"Grace!" There was a hit of anger in Claire's tone.
Grace sensed Claire's anger. She stopped being persistent.
Reina frowned. "I could use some dessert. I am a little hungry."
"Okay."
Claire might look all elegant and gentle, but she could still be scary when she was pissed.
Grace left for the kitchen.
Claire glared at Reina and said, "You've been away for more than three years. And you've made quite a scene when you came back. Reina, this is inappropriate!"
Her tone was cold.
