Nikki and I took most of the day just wandering from store to store. Searching through the shelves in every little boutique.
“Now I understand the meaning of ‘shop til you drop’,” I tell Nikki as I take a second to rest my feet. I sat down on the nearest seat against the railing at the mall.
I am exhausted. My feet and back hurt from the constant walking and carrying bags. My watch has told me that I reached my step goal at least three times today. And we have more bags of stuff than I am able to carry or even fit into my room.
“You know, I am not able to fit some of these clothes in my closet at my house. I am going to have to store some of them in your closet if that is OK with you,” I tell Nikki.
“Hmm… Yeah, that is OK.” She answers back, clearly distracted. She is looki
