I couldn’t move as quickly as I wanted to. I wanted to run and get away from this hell as fast as possible. But the pain was too unbearable to go any faster than I already was going. Which felt like a very slow creep. But I couldn’t stop either. I limped all the way back up to the main house. I paused for a brief second at the door to catch my breath, but did not stay long. I couldn't stay exposed outside like this for too long. I limped in through the back doors, and up the stairs to my room. I slammed the door shut and locked it.
