Well, that is no help. He gave me the most vague answer someone could give. I glared at him, giving him a look that I hoped told him he was not helping at all, and I was not happy with that answer. ‘Yes and no’, really what type of answer was that.
“I know, don’t look at me like that. I am aware that wasn’t really an answer. I am not trying to be vague or cryptic, but it is kind of hard to explain.” Lance ran his hands through his hair. I can only assume out of frustration.
“Yes, we tend to have higher body temperatures, especially compared to humans. But honestly, not by that much. Most can’t even tell that we have a slightly elevated temperature. Because really it is not by much.” He took a deep breath like he was trying to buy some time before he continued.
