Once I was close enough for Nikki and the coach to notice me, both of them turned to face my direction.
“Oh good, I was hoping I would be able to tell the two of you,” Coach stated as I walked up.
Nikki and I both looked at the coach waiting on what it was she wanted to tell us. She must have realized that we were waiting for her to talk, so she continued on.
“I was able to just get a hold of the scout. She stated that she was really eager to meet both of you and would be able to be by your home Nikki at 6:30 this evening. Will that work for the two of you? Or do I need to call her back and ask for another time?” She asked.
“That is perfect.” Nikki stated at the same time as me.
