No accountability, no consequences, nothing that would make a human be faithful to their chosen mate, except for love. And even then, sometimes that is not even enough. Humans can be a despicable species!
They could be unfaithful, and the other would be none the wiser. They would have absolutely no clue that their love was out f*****g someone else. There is nothing that prevents bastards, like this man walking up to me right now, from staying at home where he belongs. But that is not for me to worry about. After all, he did pay me an immensely large amount of money for this opportunity.
