* Jase’s POV
The walk back to the castle was completely quiet, which I did not mind at all. I was trying to figure out how I was going to breach the topic of what I saw on the stairs and also with Lacy hiding behind Mason. I know it will not be an easy topic to discuss with the King but it needs to be done.
Once we make it inside of the castle, we walk straight up to our level and straight to the king’s office. Oak knocked on the door, once we made it there, and it did not take long for him to tell us to come in.
