Tia's POV
Jason did not look happy, but I wasn't able to see what else happened because I left them
alone. They didn't need my presence to complicate things.
As I walked away from the room where I'd left Kael and Jason, I couldn't shake off the feeling
of unease. I wondered how Jason would react to the truth. Kael told me he'd explain everything
and I hoped he would.
I sighed to myself and briefly contemplated going to find Isla but decided against it. She had
her friends to talk to, anyway. I didn't have to act like her mother all the time. It's not like she's
