Jason's POV
I didn't feel right leaving Lori to herself, but she wasn't a child. She was a whole trained beta,
she'd be fine.
I walked around the street that seemed almost lifeless. I could hear people, but saw no one.
There was movement closeby and it was a door.
I glanced up and saw a figure by the window.
Frowning, I took a few steps towards it. But then I heard my name called.
It was Lori.
I wasted no time in running towards the direction of her calls.
Then I found her.
Panther shifters- I could smell them. They surrounded her, and I could smell blood. I was
furious.
The panther shifters tried to back off as they sensed danger for themselves, but I didn't let
them escape as I moved with speed, taking down the shifters one by one.
