Kael's POV
I sniffed the air, my senses on high alert as we trekked through the forest. We'd been searching
for Tia for about an hour now. A large part of the city and town were trees, so it was taking time
to maneuver everywhere. They really could be anywhere.According to what we'd figured out after some reluctant planning to save Tia, we already knew
that it'd be almost impossible for her assailant to drive away with her. It was likely it was a wolf.
The person had smartly covered their scent, but that wasn't the same for Tia. We didn't need the
person's scent when we could just follow Tia's.
When I saw the blood on the ground the first time, I felt my heart squeeze tighter and that
gave me more surety that I would find her today. With or without help.
