Kael's POV
I'd been patient enough. I needed to see her. I walked away from my pack mates, right after
telling them I just wanted to walk around. Since we had a little agreement with the Silverbrook
pack, it wasn't a big deal.
I walked back to the room we previously had our meeting, tracing Tia's scent back there.I stepped into the brightly lit room, my eyes immediately locking onto Tia, who sat next to her
beta, Lori, who seemed to be asking her something. But they paused, looking at me in surprise
as I approached.
I stopped as I got close enough, my focus still on Tia, but momentarily breaking it to speak to
Lori.
"I'm here for her,
" I said, my voice low.
