Chapter 2: Where Is She!

(Skyler's P.O.V)

I don't know how long I've sat here letting my thoughts consumed my mind. Letting my eyes wonder around the room, soon noticing there is light coming in through the halfway boarded up windows. Looking around some more I saw the room had old leaves and char covering up almost everything on this level. That's when I noticed a staircase, 'Wouldn't hurt to look,' I thought to myself, I pulled myself up on a chair that was close by. Once I stood my body whole body ached from the hit.

Soon my body had balanced itself I walked slowly towards the staircase. I started to climb slowly but soon enough I felt like running up the stairs, so I climbed faster until I was at the top of the staircase. I walked down a hall and came to a stop, looking to my right a door slowly opened showing me a queen-sized white bed. The bed was made perfectly, white sheets, white pillows, and the thought made me tired. Soon all the pain I felt earlier came rushing onto me with full force, causing me to almost fall on to the hardwood floor. I grabbed on to the door frame to keep me steady, knowing laying down on to the bed would be my best bet other than laying on the floor.

Slowly walking to the bed my thoughts had begun to drain out, I slowly took a sat down on the bed and lay down. I soon fell into a deep sleep.

(Tyler's P.O.V)

We waited for about thirty minutes till the guys, and I got bored of waiting, "Hey let's come back tomorrow after school, okay." I spoke with a stern voice and the guys knotted their heads. We turned back and started to make our way out of the woods.

I walked into the house after the guys dropped me off and my mom was the first person I saw, "Where's your sister?" She sounded pissed, "She's at a friend's house." I said my white lie, but mom knew better. "You know very well that Skyler does not have friends. So where is she?" She said in a terrifying voice, "She's with a friend, I already told you. She is working on a project for school, and she asked me to drop her off at the friend's house." Mom started to loosen up but had a curious look on her face, "Okay well go to bed." she said as she walked away, I sighed and headed to my room.

-Next Day After School-

Me and the guys already made our way to the old house and were at the door. I was the one to open the door, I was expecting to see Sky sitting in a corner or asleep but there was no sky at all. To be honest I was sad that she wasn't there and running at me to hold onto me, "Search the house, don't stop till this entire house is searched." With those words, the guys started to search the entire house.

About three hours later we searched but couldn't find her, we didn't check the top level of the house because almost every step on the staircase was destroyed. We soon gave up and headed to the car to head home.

Once I walked through the front door mom came into view, "Where is Skyler?" I studied her face before answering, "With that partner of hers. She went to their house again." Mom looked a bit unconvinced, but she soon gave up, "Okay but go wash up its time for dinner." She turned away with no other words.

After dinner, I walked upstairs, as I passed by Sky's bedroom door I stopped. I've never actually gone into her room, turning back around I stopped at the door. Opening her bedroom door, I looked around as I walked inside, my eyes landed on her computer. I sat down in front of it and clicked the mouse, the screen lit up and there was an opened browser on the screen. I started to read the title of what was pulled up then realized that it was the news article about the abandoned house that me and the guys threw her in. A wave of sadness hit me as I thought of Sky, I soon decided to go to bed.

When sleep came to me everything in the world was blank except the thought of Skyler.
