I was very sure that I looked marvelous, so when he spoke, the word fell like a bomb, and I felt a sudden huge drop in confidence.
“What? Why?!”
“I don’t like it and it doesn’t suit you. Simple.” With that, he looked off to the side and reached over to pick up one of the jewelries from the box closest to him, examining it. I glared at him…hard. And as if sensing my glare, he tilted his head back in my direction and raised a challenging brow.
He clearly believes his words are certainly valid but that isn’t even half of the explanation I need for rejecting something like this! I didn’t expect such a response from him so of course I’m a bit disappointed! Is it because he’s seen all the luxury stuff the world has to offer so this doesn’t catch his eye?
