-You’re not gonna find me, Clark. So, are you accepting the dare? – unknown This has to be a joke, right? -You’re not serious…- I reply, tightly holding the towel.   -I’m being very serious – unknown I can’t do this and I don’t have to either you know… ‘Never do s**t that you’re not comfortable with, even if it’s asked by the person you love most’ my mother once told me and I really lived by that advice.   -You know you can find naked girls on the internet as well right? You don’t need me for that but if you really want me to I could send you a few links-   -I much rather see you naked… So tell me, you taking the dare? – unknown This little perv thinks he’s so clever right. Fine, let’s play.   -Okay. For the record, I drop the towel and then it’s your turn?-   -Yup, pretty much. Don’t make me wait too long tho, I’m quite curious what you’re hiding under there – unknown   -Ready?- I take a deep breath and wait for his reply.   -You’ve got no idea princess – unknown   Yeah, I can imagine…I step closer to the window and smile sweetly through the window before slowly closing the curtains. This fucker really thinks I would be that easy?   -What are you doing? – unknown Right, still gotta do his stupid dare. I quickly take the towel of my body and hold it in between the curtains.   -I dropped the towel :)- I reply. Gotta be more specific next time honey…   -Touché Clark – unknown Losing at his own game I see…   -My turn… - I type, a dark smile on my face. I gotta think about this though.   -Better make it a good one – unknown Oh, don’t you worry…   “Ella, dinner’s here” I heard my mom yell from downstairs. Guess I’ll give him a dare later. -I have to go. I’ll give you one later - I text him and quickly put on some clothing before going downstairs.   Dinner went surprisingly well. No talk about work, just the two of us having normal conversations. When I cleaned up the table however, she told me she was going away for a week. But then again, I was used to being alone anyway, even had a ‘stalker’ that could entertain me. So after saying goodnight to mom, I went upstairs and did the usual things before bed. Settling myself on the bed, I layed on my side and took my phone.   -I got a dare- I type the message and receive his reply not even a minute later.   -Now I’m curious… – unknown It’s not such a great dare but for now it’s all I came up with.   -So, I want you to write a beautiful cheesy love letter and put it in the locker of a girl you like, have a crush on or whatever. Plus, you can’t write anonymous, she has to be able to know it’s you - And it’s not like people receive a lot of love letters these days, so just a little asking around and I should be able to know who this fucktard is.   -I gotta say, didn’t expect that one but sure I’ll do it.  – unknown   -One thing, how will I be sure u did the dare?- I mean I could ask around but the girl who receiver his little letter might keep it to herself.   -Believe me princess, you’ll know. I see you tomorrow, goodnight Clark – unknown I’ll know… So that means he’s sure the girl would tell me.   I tiredly turn on my back, putting my phone on the nightstand. ‘You’ll know’, I don’t know why but that part of the text really got me thinking. I mean I’m pretty sure Sophia and Michelle would immediately tell me, maybe Sarah as well. The only people that I know and would send them a letter would be Adam or Oliver maybe but Adam and Matthew aren’t friends and Matthew knows who this is so then we’re back to Oliver. But then again maybe one of the others has a crush on a completely other girl and that basically leaves me exactly where I started. Nowhere… After a few more minutes of giving myself a headache, I closed my eyes and finally managed to fall asleep.   The next morning, Michelle and I were almost too late. My mother always leaves early which places the responsibility to wake myself up, well with myself so I ended up oversleeping. When I arrived in my first class, I saw Sarah, Matthew and Blake, Sarah motioning to sit next to her.   “Good morning sunshine”, she said when I sat down, taking out my things. “Morning”, I greeted but when I looked up she was, just like yesterday, creepily smiling at me. “What?” I asked, not sure if I even wanted to know. “A little bird told me about you playing games with a stalker, as she liked to call it”, Sarah spoke, raising one of her eyebrows. “And with little bird you mean Sophia” “Yeah, that girl can’t keep a secret even if her life depended on it. I wanted to thank you for that by the way. Since you came here, she’s been talking to us again like before. We ended up talking all night yesterday and I really feel like I’ve got my old buddy back”, she told me sincerely. I smiled at her and wanted to turn forward but she playfully hit my shoulder. “But hey, tell me about the game”, she asked excitingly. “Well, it’s basically just truth or dare but I would only win if I’m able to find out who he is but no luck there yet”, I explained to her. “Speaking about the game”, I said and turned around to face Matthew to see him already listening in on our conversation, a smirk covering his face. “You still have to tell me wh-“ “Good morning class”, the teacher came in and got ready to start the class. Saved by the bell, again… I blankly stared at Matthew, receiving an innocent smile from him before I turned to the teacher.   “So we have to look for someone who received a love letter?”, Sarah asked when she, Sophia and I walked out of our last class before lunch. Matthew of course bolted after the first class the second the bell went off. “Yes, but I think it should be a girl I know”, I told them, letting out a big sigh. “So that’s Sarah, Michelle, Blake or me”, Sophia concluded and I nodded. “We can check before we go for lunch, gotta put away our books anyway”, Sarah looked at the both of us as we walked through the hallway. We checked both of their lockers but neither of them had a letter. That would have been too easy anyway… “We’ll just text the others. I’ll ask Blake, you ask Michelle”, Sarah spoke, before taking out her phone. Probably sending a text to Blake. I took my phone to do the same with Michelle.   -Hey Michelle, did you receive any letters in your locker today?- I message her.   -That’s random but nope. They only paper in my locker are books and an English test– Michelle Well, there goes Michelle. I looked up at Sarah and she shook her head. Maybe later today… We started making our way to the cafeteria, shortly stopping at my locker to put away my books as well.   “It’s weird though”, Sophia said. “I know. If someone received a love letter, you’d think that would definitely go around”, Sarah answered and I chuckled at her while opening my locker. “Oh my god”, Sophia said, grasping our attention again. She bent down and picked something up from the ground. “This just fell out of your locker”, she said holding something up. It was a folded piece of paper with my name on it. No way… “He wrote to you”, Sarah spoke, her mouth open and the both of them smiling like crazy. “Read it”, Sophia pushed the paper in my hands when I didn’t respond. I slowly folder the paper open and started reading.   Dear Ella, you ask and I shall deliver so hereby I present to you my ‘beautiful cheesy love letter’. You probably didn’t expect me to write it to you but as I told you earlier, you’ve gotten me interested. Way more than I like, I might add. I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s the way you might look shy at first but you stand up for yourself and your friends. Maybe it’s the way your smile lights up the whole room whenever you’re happy. Maybe it’s the way your eyes shine brighter than any star I’ve ever seen. Or maybe it’s just the way you make me smile whenever you walk by. I normally wouldn’t like to admit it but since you wanted me cheesy, I want you to know that I have no bad intentions, whatsoever. Everything about you just lures me in without you even trying. So hurry up with trying to find me because I want nothing more than to hold you close, kiss you, make you mine. I don’t want to sound creepy but it is what it is. So good luck Clark, I’ll be waiting. Your one and only, prince charming.   I finished reading the letter and for some reason it made the butterflies go crazy. I turned to the girls, to see them reading the letter from beside me. Of course they would. After a few more seconds they looked up and went to stand in front of me again. “Oh my god, you’re blushing”, Sophia teased me, way too loud to my liking. The hallway was full of students, some of them turning to us. “Let’s just go eat”, I put away the letter and walked away, the other two following close behind me.     Unknown p.o.v. She was smiling like a little kid on Christmas reading my letter next to her little friends, who annoyingly read it with her. Her smile reached all the way to her eyes and she seemed to like the s**t I wrote. I had put quite some effort in that letter and it’s not like it’s something I usually do. I normally don’t do or like cheesy stuff in general but up until now, she’s been the exception in every way.  But remember Clark, it’s your turn now…
