BEFORE YOU

BOTHERED

Jefferson is a freshman at the University of Surigao and is on the basketball team there as the quarterback. He is able to live at home because campus is only twenty miles away. While Alfred is a senior at the school I was just enrolled in, so is Reid. Jefferson plays basketball at the high school and is apparently the ideal sports team leader there. The Curpuz brothers easily look like they could pass as triplets, even though Reid is the tallest of the three and has different colored eyes than the other two. I often thought that he might have been conceived of as a fish with dark green eyes. So far, that's what I learned from Curpuz brothers.

However, for Jefferson and Alfred I appreciate their effort. They helped me unload the whole entire moving truck. I am so tired of walking, then go upstairs again with boxes.

"Princess, you must be tired let us finish the task." Alfred suggested.

"Can you stop calling me princess, I am not a kid!"

"Oh really? you mean you are a grown woman now.." Alfred tease me then he laughed. I never mind it anyway.

I spent the rest of the night holed up in my room unpacking my boxes, and I instantly regret how I packed everything because everything is a disaster and will take me hours to get everything put away. My room is pretty big, with a king-sized bed that has a black comforter, two white distressed dressers, and a matching nightstand. The only thing that my room was missing was its own bathroom.

After I was finished unpacking everything and had everything where I wanted it I decided it was time for a hot bath. I gathered some of my pajamas and my phone and head across the house towards the bathroom.

On my way, I forcedly stop my feet when I heard strange sounds.

"Grrrooo.o" a smashing sound in the air.

"So noisy dogs" I said as I know it was just an animal. But the sound was followed by something growling on the ground. Then the wild strange voices was suddenly multiplied.

"Woooo.oo."

"Many dogs around here?" I said. I realize not to ask before if people in this mansion are taking care of dogs. Hearing the sounds helped me to refresh myself for having a cinophobia. I can't take this anymore, so I decided to run even if I am inside of the big house.

"Hey sweetie got everything put away?" My mom beamed at me from where she was molded against Robert on the living room couch. So I had to stop and take a deep breath from running.

"Yeah. I just want to take a long hot bath."

"Are you okay? I saw you running."

"Of course I'm fine. it was just a warmup?"

"Hmm.." my mom's reaction and Robert followed.

"The only bathroom in this house with a working tub is the one in our room. I will have someone out here to fix the bathroom in the upstairs bathroom by your room as soon as possible. Feel free to use ours until then." I nodded and turned around, and walked into my mom and Roberts room. His room is masculine but there is definitely a womanly touch with the flowers in vases on the dresser. His king sized bed along the back wall had a floral maroon and dark grey comforter on it that I am pretty sure my mom picked out. There were framed pictures of them on the wall and some of her things from our old house spread throughout the room.

"What a new life!" I murmured seeing those things around.

I walked into the bathroom thinking of it, as their room is weird and just reminds me of life as I knew it was over and now I live in a house with four men, and that is not something I ever expected to happen. I flicked on the bathroom lights and felt my heart sing when I saw the bathtub. The walls were painted spotless white, and the counter tops were black and white marble, matching the sinks and the toilet. There was a stand-in shower that had two shower heads, and then there was the bathtub. I sat my clothes down and bent down, turning on the water and letting it heat up before I put the plug in and poured some bubble bath in. I stripped down and decided to call my boyfriend Jacob.

"Hey babe!" I smiled into the phone. We have been together three months and he is one of the main reasons I didn't mind switching schools. He lives in the middle of town so he was able to choose what school he went to. We met through friends of ours since we hang out with the same crowd no matter the schools we go to.

"How was moving? Get everything unpacked?" Jacob asked sounding genuinely curious.

"Yeah, and Finally! I met Robert's sons, he has three of them. Well I had met Jefferson and Alfred but I just met Reid and let me say he seems like an asshole."

"Wait..Reid? As in Reid Curpuz?" He asks almost sounding shocked.

"You know him?" I asked as if I wanted to clarify, even though I know, that he knows them. They all went to the same school.

"I know all the Curpuz brothers, they are all arrogant pricks and weird, especially that guy Reid, he is a real bastard. Stay away from him." Jacob warned his tone no longer calm it was low and warning.

"I can't necessarily do that Babe, I am living now in their house." I said as I remove my clothes in front of him. I saw him bite his lips when he saw my naked body.

"Alright but be careful, don't mess with that guy if not, you will get burned." Jacob sighs into the phone and everything about the tone in his voice has me worried. Then I started to climb into the bathtub letting the bubbles and hot water cover my skin. My muscles scream in agony from being used all day but I feel myself starting to relax.

"I have no intentions of being anywhere near him so you have nothing to worry about." I told him to make him feel comfortable for me.

"Okay, call me after your bath. I miss you.."

"I miss you too.." I said as I made a flying kiss in the air to him.

Once I slide down the screen to take my call down. I hear giggling on the other end of the line causing my eyebrows to knit together. The sounds of girly giggles from mobile phone. I knew it was coming somewhere from the outside.

I jumped from the bath tub to check what it was.

"Who is that?" I ask curiously.
