Following Nathanar’s promise of deliverance, the mood around the camp lightened considerably. Their hosts, clearly emboldened by Nathanar’s words, moved with renewed purpose. Talia had set herself the ambitious task of skinning the huge serpent, assisted by Darlia, whose mechanical claw helped the Lost Knight to manhandle the beast. On the other side of the camp, Jibreel and Falkai worked with Vladril. Together, they sifted through weapons and armour both scavenged and fabricated by the Lost Knights. Some of the salvaged armour appeared to be from Korlith’s era, evident by the alternate iconography of the Knights Thranis etched into the metalwork.
